Nunew's POV.

"Aow , mae , how could you do this to me ?!" I exclaimed on the phone.

"Aren't you tired of being alone Nhu-na .. it's about time you enter the dating world .." said mae.

"I am lonely but that doesn't mean you need to set a blind date for me !" I exclaimed as Nat watch me while sipping on his tea quietly.

"It's just one blind date na .. and plus , the guy I set you up to is really charming and handsome .." she said making me sigh , rubbing my temple.

"Mae , I don't care whether he is charming or good looking .. I just don't want to go on a blind date with someone I don't even know !" I complained.

"Come on Nhu .. it's just a one time thing .. and plus , you can't keep waiting for your childhood boyfriend to come na .." she said making me gasp in disbelief.

"Mind you , my childhood boyfriend was the most amazingly boyfriend ever !" I said making her chuckle.

"And plus mae , I am busy with wedding planning , I don't have the time to go on blind dates .." I whine.

"Nunew Chawarin." She said sternly making me freeze.

"You are going to that blind date tonight, you hear me. It's about time to get out of that rock of yours and finally enter the world of love." She said as I sigh in defeat.

"Urgh .. fine but this is the only time I am going." I said making her cheer through the phone.

"Good , make sure to appear at that restaurant tonight na .. I love you Nhu.." she said as I sigh , plopping down onto the chair.

"I love you too .." I said before hanging up. I then slammed my head on the table as Nat sigh.

"So how'd it go ?" Asked Nat as I lifted my head up , glaring at him.

"I can't believe I have to go to a stupid blind date with a guy my mom saw !" I whined making Nat chuckle.

"I mean it's nice that your mom is hooking you up with someone .." he said making me glare at him before groaning.

"Oh come on Nhu .. it's not a bad thing .. think of it as a step to being in love .." He said as I pout.

"I mean , what could go wrong ?" He asked.

"And plus , I'll be there as a back up .. just in case anything goes wrong ..." he said , trying to lift up my mood. I sigh , hiding my face on my arm as I groan.

Zee's POV.

I clinked my glass with Max's before drinking down my wine. I sigh in satisfaction , putting my glass down.

"Ah , it's good to be back .." said Max making me chuckle.

"I don't get why you're back .. you look like you're enjoying Japan .." I said as he smile slightly.

"I did .. but my best friend is getting married soon .. so I had to come back .." he said making me chuckle , shaking my head.

"How's the wedding coming along ?" He asked.

"It's fine .. I got an amazing wedding planner so everything is going smoothly .." I said , sipping my wine.

"Zee .. are you sure you want to get married to Janis ?" He asked making me freeze.

"From what I know .. you're not really in love with her." He said making me sigh.

"And yet you're still going to marry her." He continued.

"Does it look like I have a choice ? I made a promise to her father that I'll marry her .." I said.

"And plus .. I owe her father .. so it's only right if I marry her." I continue.

"My parents have high expectations of me. So I have no choice but to do this .." I said as he sigh.

"Then what about him ?" He asked making me look up to him.

"Have you found 'him' ?" He asked as I sigh making Max pat my back. I sipped my wine , biting my inner cheek.

Nunew's POV.

I walked into the restaurant , clutching my bag as I look around. Soon I saw someone waving to me making me turn and soon saw the guy that mae hooked me up with. I smile awkwardly before walking over to him.

"Hi .." I said softly as I took a seat across him.

"Hi .. wow .. you look amazing .. just like how your mom described you .." he said making me chuckle awkwardly.

"I am Yon by the way .." he said as I shook his hand.

"Nunew .." I said as he smile.

"So I heard you're a wedding planner .." he said as I nod.

"Krub .." I said.

"That's mean you can plan our future wedding .." he said confidently making me chuckle , looking away as I scrunched my face. I soon saw Nat who was sitting a few tables from me. He gave me a thumbs up as I then turned back to Yon , smiling sarcastically.

"God .. this will be a long night .." I thought.

- 30 minutes later -

I played with my food boringly as Yon kept talking about his stupid mechanic work. I sigh , looking at the time , realizing only 30 minutes passed. I sigh heavily , turning back to Yon who was busy babbling away.

"God .. how long can he even talk .." I thought as I look down to my food.

"Nhu .." I look up and my eyes widened seeing P'Zee , sitting across me.

"How about we go and take a walk at the beach .." he said making me freeze.

"Nhu ?" I snapped out of my thoughts , seeing Yon looking at me. I shook my head , rubbing my eyes to see clearly , seeing Yon in front of me.

"You okay ?" He asked making me nod , fixing my posture.

"Yeah .. just a lil light headed from the wine .." I said , chuckling before taking a sip from my wine.

"Shit ! Did I just thought of Zee ?!" I thought. Soon an idea popped up in my head as I look at the dance floor.

"Why don't we go and dance ?" I asked as he turned to the dance floor.

"Sure .." he said as he stood up , putting his hand out. I got up , placing my hand in his as he lead me to the dance floor.

Zee's POV.

I sipped my wine as I talk to Max about work. I soon turned to the dance floor , seeing many people dancing with one another. I soon frown seeing someone familiar.

"Nunew ?" I thought as I look closely and soon realized it was really Nunew. He was danced with someone. I look at him , seeing how dressed up he was.

I chuckled , smirking softly as I watch him dance with a guy.

"What a surprise .." I thought.
