Darkness, empty. Yet it was so loud. Unable to move or speak you just observe.

"Daddyy my friends just manifest their quirks! I can't wait for mine!"

It was a familiar voice of yours. But it was much, much younger.

"I want it to be strong and powerful! SO I can help people!"
A middle-aged man chuckles can be heard but there are no figures of both of them.

"Y/n, baby. Hero work is difficult you know...how 'bout you become daddy's lab partner?"

"Daddy's partner? Nah I wanna be an indapanda girl hero! Save many people!"
A girl figure appears as she jumps in the excitement of her thoughts. A male figure soon appears crouching down in front of the girl.

"Then, Daddy will watch you grow."
The man stated as the girl hugged him giggling and smiling brightly.

Like her smile, her hands glow a bright red.
The figures soon disappear and are replaced with a loud scream. You winced at the screams and tried to move or do anything. But to no avail.

A crying girl soon appears her outfit now covered in mud and dirt. Her hair is beyond messy. Her eyes beg for help as she looks into yours. The intense gaze makes you breathless. It was more harder to breathe.

"Hello...?"

"A PHONE CALL IS HERE!" "A PHONE CALL IS HERE!"

huh-

You quickly grabbed the phone to answer whoever decided to call at the ungodly hour of the morning.

"Y/n, I didn't receive your messages back from yesterday"
"Hi, Mother."
You answered in the calmest voice possible that you could manage.

Please do not-

"I'm glad you answered this, wouldn't want to see you again like last time."

ugh, I jinx it too hard.

"I'm capable of myself now. I have my friends to accompany me and I'm now at a working age."

"You are still a kid y/n, do not try to fool me. You are still incapable that you cannot even text your own mother"

The bitter taste ran through your mouth of her words. Will she ever let you live? Doubt. But you have lived with this burden too long now that it just really isn't much. Your eyes adjust to the light coming from your bedside table as you rub your eyes and sit up.

"I'm sorry but I was in a jet lag. I was just asleep" You answered your desire to sleep dissolving.

"Incapable y/n, accept it" Your mouth runs dry yet again and you refuse to answer her words.

"Good night, Mother" You answer quickly as you hang up the phone.

5 a.m.. Too early to get up and start whatever lies ahead. Your body refusing both getting up and sleeping. Too bad, you had to continue your life.

You get up from your bed and grab a jacket to wear. Staying inside will eat your brains alive and you need some fresh air. Maybe a cup of coffee before you go. You let the kettle in your room boil while you get the coffee mix ready from the package. Your mind going hazy,

This is the way things were y/n

The sound of bubbles of the kettle fills the empty room.

Bare it.
