As I lay on the ground, my heart pounding, I tried to make sense of my situation when to my surprise, I realized that the person who pulled me down was none other than Ckykau, my other close friend. She had cuts and bruises all over her arms and legs, and she was covering her head in fear. In the distance, I saw a Shadow Hunter swiftly cut down a Shadow, and in the calm aftermath, a Shadow Hunter remarked with surprise, "Well, that was...odd."
I leaned over towards Ckykau, careful not to speak too loudly. I was curious to know why she had followed me to this desolate place. "Chibi Ykau, what are you doing here?" I whispered, hoping no one else could overhear us. Her response was quick but barely audible. "I was following you when that demon attacked me." I was surprised by her response and corrected her, "Not a demon... It's called a Shadow, Ckykau." We both stayed quiet, straining our ears to listen for any sound or movement that could indicate danger. The silence was deafening, and the only thing we could hear was the sound of our breathing. After a few moments, we relaxed a bit but remained alert, knowing that anything could happen in this shadowy realm.
