(Leo regained consciousness in a pile of rubble, lifting his head up and moaning. He removes himself from the rubble..)
Leo: Casey! Lee, you okay?
(Leonardo emerges out of another pile of rubble.)
Leonardo: Donnie, Mikey, anybody?
[Dusting himself off, Casey Jr growls with an angry look, taking off his mask and slides down to Leo.]
Casey Jr: [upset about Leo's behaviour] What the heck was that?
Leo: [reffering to the krang subway buss they encountered[ Some kind of drippy, crazy Krang monster.
Casey Jr: No, I mean you! *points to Leonardo* Why weren't you listening to anybody?
Leonardo: Because I was trying to get us into the other side of that fight and into the building!
Casey Jr: That sure worked out well.
Leo: But I was doing everything right. How could it go so wrong?
Casey: Because you weren't listening to your team! You don't have all the answers all the time!
Leo: But I'm the greatest ninja the world's ever seen. You said that.
Casey: [coldly] I was wrong.
Leo: What?
Casey: [gets up angrily] You're impulsive, you're arrogant, and you don't see that every decision you make could cost someone their life! You want to know what really happens to your brothers in the future? They die. Everybody dies fighting the Krang.
[Leo's angry look turns into a look of horror and sadness when he heard Casey say that. ]
Casey: It was the year 2044...
A flashback plays...
(Thundering explosions and a person breathing heavily can be heard. Two people run through an apocalyptic wasteland. One person clutches their abdomen while the other supports their weight.)
Casey Jr: I got you, Sensei. Stay with me.
Future Leo: You're a life saver, Casey Jones.
Casey: I learned from the best. Come on, we're almost there.
[Title Introduction: NEW YORK ]
(Casey and Future Leo cower as monsters lunge at them, only to be saved by orange energy that transforms into energetic chains.)
Man: Bad doggies!
Future Leo: Impeccable timing, little brother. Very dramatic.
(Future Mikey appears hovering in front of Casey and Leo and dispatches several Krang monsters with his energetic chains. Casey sets Future Leo down on the ground. Future Mikey approaches, concerned.)
Casey: Help him, Michelangelo. He's hurt bad.
(Future Leo's carapace bleeds as he watches Titans relentlessly approach the battlefield, vaporizing human soldiers with lasers.)
Future Leo: That's it. The resistance failed. The Krang won. But-but isn't over. We've still got a ninja's greatest weapon: hope. That and a badass mystic warrior. Mikey, we need a time gateway.
Future Mikey: It'll take everything I have.
Future Leo: I know. But this is our last chance. It's our only chance.
