[Trans. Int. Second lair; Night]
Security AI: Escape pods incoming. Congratulations on surviving, fam.
[Donnie and Donatello were the first to arrive back and emerge out of the pods. A banner and appears above as confetti explode from the air. The other pods arrived and the others are released as well.]
April: Everyone okay?
April O'Neil: Anybody hurt?
Mikey: How did we get here?
Donatello: We've never had to use those before.
Donnie: So, how would everyone rate their escape experience? "Very satisfied", "very, very satisfied", "extremely satisfied"—
April O'Neil: Donnie!
Donnie: Sorry. Data collection calms me down.
(Splinter regains consciousness.)
April O'Neil: Splints.
April: Are you alright, sensei?
Master Splinter: Yes. We are all right.
Casey Jr.: This is terrible! Why did we leave?
Casey: Dude, seriously?
Mikey: [terrified] In case you didn't notice, we were getting our butts kicked!
[Donnie pulls Mikey off of Casey Jr.]
Casey Jr.: But my mission was to stop them. Right now, the Kraang are using that Key to bring in something that will destroy the world! We lost.
(Raph's Donnie Pod arrives and releases Leo and Leonardo. Casey Jr. got out of the way and they stepped out, his heart racing. He looked at his family, their voices muffled by his ringing head. ]
Donatello: Leo?!
Michelangelo: Dude? Dude, speak to me!
Donnie: Where's my other pod?
Mikey: Where's Raph?
Donnie: I mean, where's Raph?
Then his eyes focused on Casey, who gasped. With anger in his heart, Leo lunges at Casey, but Leonardo restrains him.
Leo: [furious] Did you know this would happen?! Why didn't you tell me?!
Casey Jr.: [scared and confused] What are you talking about?
Mikey: Easy! Leo, what's going on? Where's Raph?
Donnie: Leo, what happened to Raph?
Splinter: Leonardo?
{Leo stops as his brothers let him go.]
Leonardo: Dad...
Master Splinter: What happened to your brothers?
Leo: They... they got 'em.
A hush fell upon the lair.
April: You left Raph?
Leo: He left himself. He used his Pod to save me, all because I went after this stupid thing.
(Leonardo shoves the Key into Casey Jr's chest.)
Casey: [amazed] You got it! Nice.
Leonardo: "Nice"? They captured Raph! Why did we have to get it?! To save the "future?!
[Leo's eyes grew wide, coming to a realization]
Leo: Future. Future! He's from the future! He knew this would happen and didn't tell anybody!
Casey Jr: No. I didn't. This didn't happen in my time. [hopeful and happy] We changed the past, and you got the Key. That means there's still a chance to stop them.
Leo: No, we have to save Raph. Come on.
Donnie: Leo, wait.
Leonardo: If you won't come, I'll go myself.
(Leo tries to swing his swords, but his Hamato Ninpō doesn't respond to his attempts to activate it. The red eared slider grunted in pain as a blue and red light shuttered around him along with his swords.]
Donatello: We've lost our mystic powers, remember?
Michelangelo: We don't have a plan.
Leonardo: We don't need a plan. Remember I'm the "greatest ninja the world's ever seen" His words.
Donnie: Shouldn't we talk about this before we run off all half-cocked, willy-nilly, pell-mell?
Leo: Look, I keep being told I'm doing this hero thing wrong. But I got the Key, didn't I? I get results, so now we're doing it my way.
Splinter: My son, listen to your team. This is not about you.
Master Splinter rests a hand on Leonardo's shoulder. He jerked it away.
Leonardo: They made it about me when they took my brother. Trust me, I got this. Donnie, you're driving.
Casey: What do we do with this? (holds the key)
Casey Jr: We can't just bring it with us, but we can't just leave it behind.
(April takes the Key from Casey.)
April: Then we should destroy it. Splints, Master Splinter, April O'Neil, Casey and I will stay here and take care of business.
[Casey Jr looks at Casey who is bandaging himself and nodded. He starts to join the turtles before he looked at April one last time.]
Casey: Thanks, Commander O'Neil.
April: "Commander"? I like the sound of that.
