Apo Road was in utter chaos. Many people have been scared out of their minds because the sex scandal involved 7219. Even folks skeptical about the video decided to leave rather than be sorry.

The magnitude of people rushing out overwhelmed the traffic guards. A stampede was about to happen, a tragedy unfolding.

But a red convertible car stopped all the madness. Vin spoke through a megaphone,

"Hello, Mai Citizens and visitors from all over the world. I, Vin Albay, have captured former God Slayer, Ko Resurreccion. Fear not, 7219 will not save his lover, for he is no longer in our realm. I was in Mt. Fufa; his fortress and factory are all gone. I've uploaded pictures and videos online as proof; check them out. 7219 abandoned his lover. He is gone, back to Hell. So don't be afraid. Watch a traitor put in his place; witness justice served."

After listening to Vin's speech, the crowd resumed their panic and uproar, unconvinced by Vin's convictions. They were desperate to leave Apo Road, fearing 7219's wrath. But a handful believed Vin's speech and followed his car. They even started filming Ko's humiliation.

Eventually, Vin's spectators grew bigger. It was still tiny compared to the sea of people trying to leave Apo Road. But this small crowd got drunk on the spectacle. They were laughing, cheering for Vin, and calling Ko an animal fucker.

Ko was on the verge of losing consciousness, but he could still hear and understand the chatter among the crowd following him.

"How could he sleep with a beast? What is wrong with him?"

"There must be something wrong with his brain development. I mean, who will do this?"

"Maybe the Gods hated him; that's why he was cursed to have a ghoul as a soulmate."

Unspeakable pain consumed Ko, but it was not from Vin's humiliation, nor the harsh words of the public, and not because of his broken body being dragged through the streets of Kudrik City, but from hopelessness. The terror of never seeing Kana again loomed over him. With each minute closer to the police station, his heart felt heavier.

The car stopped in front of the Kudrik Police Station. The Captain of the precinct stepped out to greet Vin. He was wearing a face that looked like he would be executed. Behind him was the Special Task Force, Swat Team, and the Royal Police Squad; all looked like they were shitting themselves.

Vin stepped out of the car. "Captain, isn't this a little bit excessive? All this for this loser!" He pointed at Ko. He looked so dirty, covered with debris, mud, and blood.

The Captain replied, "Well, just in case 7219...you know. An investigation of 7219's current location is still ongoing, so better to be sure than sorry, haha haha," His laugh sounded more like a cry for help.

"Aren't you guys too afraid of 7219?" Vin said.

"And you're too carefree about him, slayer." the Captain retorted.

"Oh well, here's the trash," Vin said as he unhooked the rope from the bumper. The Captain and two other police officers headed to the back of the car and were horrified by the state of Ko.

The two other police officers were about to carry him, but Ko suddenly started thrashing. The two officers were shocked and leaped away while the captain quickly jumped in the car's hood.

Vin laughed. "You guys are too skittish." His laughter was contagious to the other officers.

Eventually, Ko stopped thrashing around. He became very still again, and fresh tears ran from his eyes.
