Four hours before the incident
It has been three days since the incident in Mt. Fufa. Ko has been off slayer duties to focus on hacking the Slayer Council's archive.
He has been cooped to the second floor of his home office. And in the past three days, he has not followed his strict schedule, which made him feel dirty.
Desperate for a break, Ko peeled himself off his computer.
Ko wore his slayer uniform just because he missed it dearly. It's dangerous to step out of the house since the symptoms can begin at any time. But he was so desperate to move his body and get some fresh air that he risked it.
He took a very long gray cloak with a hoodie and wore it. It covered his entire body.
"Good, just in case," he said.
Ko slipped out of the house. As soon as he started jogging, instantly, he was in a better mood. The night air was very chilly, just how Ko likes it. He went outside Slayer Village and ran for about 15 minutes. He was about to head home when he got a notification from his slayer watch telling him a night creature was nearby.
Ko thought that he better ignore it. It's too dangerous to stay out in public, but the thought of giving up slay points to another slayer was eating him inside.
His slayer watch informed him that the attack occurred in Mapo City, 20 minutes from Kudrik City. And with Ko's agility and speed, he can cut that in 5 minutes.
He gave in to his desire and headed to Mapo City.
