Chapter 15

Y/n was pouting in front of her laptop as she felt anger rise in her, "He's definitely ignoring me, I'm sure of it!" she murmured in a low growl, eyes fixated on the screen. She was currently huddled up in her blanket while munching a chocolate bar out of frustration.

She doesn't know why she was acting all fed-up when Satoru was not paying attention to her at all but when he was around she was all annoyed. "But I don't ignore him the same way he did!" she defended herself from her taunting brain.

She looked at the ceiling of her apartment and glared at it as if she was practicing how she would look at Satoru when he finally spoke with her. But her stare-off contest with the ceiling broke when she heard her laptop notify her.

["Y/n! I missed you so much! Let's meet at the north cafe."] It was from a fauxbook account named Oza-Ozawith no profile at all and no other details. She creased her brow from confusion and decided to reply to it.

"Huh, who's this?"

["Duh? Can you not tell, it's me, your friend. Yuko Ozawa!"] The account replied. ["I'm here at the north cafe right now and I heard you were just around this corner. Come and hang out with me, I'm alone right now."] Then Ozawa sent a picture of her sitting at the cafe with an iced coffee on her table.

Ozawa was her elementary friend and up until now she had no communication with her since they separated paths in highschool.

Y/n contemplated a bit whether to go or not since Gojo strictly said to her that for the meantime she should trail school-apartment-apartment-school route and nothing else beyond that. But now that he's ignoring her, maybe she should ignore his words too, right?

"Ah, okay I'll be there in five minutes." She agreed and put on a jacket and her shoes before dashing to the north cafe. She was lucky that she was just near that location so she doesn't have to ride a cab or something.

She arrived at the north cafe but was surprised that no one was there. She even got in to check the other side of the cafe but she found no Ozawa. This made her look at her phone and chat, [I'm here, where are you?]

Oza-Oza left her in seen.

Y/n looked around only to find that she was standing alone so she took a seat and waited for Ozawa. She once again examined the fauxbook account who chatted her and saw no other details. At this moment she wanted to scold herself for being dumb.

"The fuck, Y/n! You're too trusting!" she growled as sweat began to accumulate on the side of her face and her heart began to pound in her chest. She was looking left and right if there was a suspicious person around.

Her palm began to sweat and her legs pumped up and down at a rapid pace. At this point she was deafened by her own thought, "No one's going to harm me, I'm safe in this cafe. No idiot will barge in and—"

"Bang!"

Y/n's heart almost leaped out of her chest making her gasp loudly and choke on her own saliva.

"Oh dear! Y/n, are you alright?" A familiar voice of someone she knew asked her while it patted her back. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you."

"N-No, it's fine." Y/n tried to calm her heart down and put on a strained smile. "I'm too paranoid..."

Ozawa gently sat on the seat across Y/n and smiled at her, "I saw you outside so I decided to give you a little shock."

Y/n let out a strained laugh before ordering what they want. "So, how's life so far?" Ozawa asked, sipping her drink.
