"You're a liar!" I shouted at Irin the moment I stepped into our apartment. "You told me the CEO is handsome and cool! That he's super rich and I could use my charm to seduce him!"

Irin laughed while munching on popcorn on the couch. I joined her and playfully smacked her shoulder multiple times, embarrassed by my recent encounter.

"Do you have any idea how embarrassing that was? I sized her up, head to toe, and she told me I didn't have what it takes to be an actor!" I ranted again, throwing a tantrum like a kid.

"She's quite something, isn't she?" Irin chuckled.

I shot her a stern look. If she weren't my childhood friend and the one who helped me achieve what I have now, I'd probably punch her in the face for humiliating me like that.

"Damn, why didn't I realize she was the CEO the first time I saw her all sophisticated?" I kicked the air and covered my face.

"Why didn't you research the production company before auditioning for that role?" Irin asked, setting down the popcorn. "And why are you so worked up? You had a girlfriend back in high school; you can seduce that CEO too."

"That's entirely different, Irin," I clarified. "My ex-girlfriend confessed to me first, which means she already liked me before I liked her. That CEO hated me the moment she saw me!"

"Maybe she was just intimidated?" Irin suggested, still chuckling. "Calm down, kiddo. Zee is on his way with beers. Are you in?"

"I have work tomorrow," I replied with a pout. "Forget my company; they couldn't care less about me. If I become the best actress in this series, I'm definitely terminating my contract with them."

"Why's our little one so down?" Zee asked, entering with a bag of beers in his hands. "Did you get rejected by someone?"

"Rejected, my foot," I rolled my eyes.

"No one's rejected Becky before, Zee. Don't you remember? Even that college professor; she seduced him to pass the exam," Irin laughed and grabbed the beer from Zee's hands.

"Professor Tong?" Zee inquired, his eyes widening. "Wait, you did that? I never heard that news."

"That girl can seduce anyone she likes. If it benefits her, she might even seduce me," Irin laughed again, making me grimace.

Zee settled between us and offered me popcorn. "You need to stop seducing everyone. You might end up seducing someone's husband," he scolded, flicking my forehead, which made me groan.

"Hey!" I yelled. "I won't seduce married people. I refuse to be a second option."

"You'd eat your words," Zee clicked his tongue. "Just like this popcorn." He held my jaw and fed me a piece, causing me to glare at him.

"Let's drink!" Irin nudged Zee and handed him a beer. She offered one to me, but I declined. I excused myself to my room to study my lines for tomorrow.

A few minutes later, while reading, someone knocked on my door. I assumed it was Irin, but to my surprise, it was Zee. He stumbled into me, reeking of alcohol.

"What the hell?" I asked, attempting to push him away, but he hugged me tightly.

"Becky..." He cried. "If I get the job and become wealthy, will you marry me?"

I rolled my eyes. Here he goes again, proposing when he's drunk.

"Zee, you're drunk again. Who gets drunk on beer?" I rolled my eyes. "Go sleep in the living room." I pushed him away, but he clung to me, so I had no choice but to lie him in my bed.

He was completely wasted.

I glanced at the living room and noticed a bottle of stronger liquor, causing me to sigh. They must have hidden it earlier, knowing I'd be furious.

I turned to Irin and guided her to her room to get some rest.

This was what I disliked about them getting drunk. I always ended up taking care of them. Damn it.

After a few run-throughs of my script, I lay down beside Zee and placed a pillow between us. I needed sleep now. I hoped the CEO wouldn't be there, or I'd be in deep trouble.
