"What in Merlins beard do I wear on a date!" Alex said looking through her wardrobe. "Oh! Wear those jeans Lily got you!" Antonella said walking up to Alexandras wardrobe and taking the jeans out. Alex nodded before she rifled through her jumpers and picked out a black turtle neck and a leather jacket.

"I got the perfect boots for you!" Lily squealed as she walked into the room holding burgundy heeled boots. Alex smiled and she quickly changed into the blue bell bottoms and put the thick turtle neck on. She put the boots on and walked over to her make up box and brushed her eyelashes with a bit of mascara. Alex put her leather jacket on and looked in the mirror. Antonella and Lily smiled at the girl. "Oh Alex, your first date." Lily sighed. "Where are you guys going?"

"Just to the three broomsticks." Alex sighed grabbing her coin purse and stuffing into her jacket pocket. Alex looked at her watch. "Okay, he'll be downstairs." Alex sighed checking herself one more time in the mirror before bidding Lily and Antonella goodbye.

Alex walked out the common room and Regulus leaning on the balustrade was waiting for Alex. He was wearing black jeans, black converse, a long sleeve black shirt and a brown leather jacket. Regulus looked up and smiled when he saw Alex.

"You look beautiful." He said as he held out his hand for her to take. Alex gulped as she took his hand and intertwined it with hers. As the walked down the stairs Alex looked up at him. "You look very handsome, I must say."

Regulus cheeks turned pink and Alex chuckled. Never in her life did she ever think she'd see Regulus Black flustered. As the two made their way out of the school, they both couldn't help but notice the stares and whispers they got.

Alex rolled her eyed at the whispers of her peers. Regulus didn't seem to be affected by them at all. He was more amused by it. He had a giant, cocky smirk on his face. Alex shoved him and he laughed. "Careful Reg, your Sirius is showing." Alex chuckled. Regulus rolled his eyes. "I'll pretend you didn't say that, because that would mean I would mean I'm a knob head with a big ego." Regulus smiled.

"You are a knob head with a big ego." Alex retorted. Regulus stopped in his tracks and let go of Alexandras hand. "How are you. I might just take you to that nasty pink teashop." Regulus said folding his arms.

"Madam Puddifoot's?" Alex laughed. "Regulus Black if you ever took me there I'd hex you." Regulus just laughed. "I promise I won't dare take you there. I've heard you're extremely skilled with the Bat Bogey Hex." Regulus laughed.

Alex and Regulus laughed and chatted as they made their way into the three broomsticks. Regulus opened the door for Alex and bought their butterbeers. He told her of childhood stories — some even involving Sirius. He told Alex of his father — who Alex thought was stuck up and mean like Regulus mother — but was rather a quiet and gentle man.

Alex told him stories of her first time in a broom and how she fell so hard she broke her collarbone. She told Regulus stories of helping her father with his potions and how she'd help him create a number of them.

"Wait so your natural hair is blonde?" Regulus gasped. Alex nodded as she drank her fourth butter beer of the day. "How does it stay so brown?" Regulus asked intrigued. "Reg, my dads a famous Potioneer, specifically in hair products and you ask how it stays so brown?" Alex laughed. Regulus rolled his eyes as he looked at Alex. They both just stared at eachother. Their hands were interlocked as they sat across from each other. "Why not go blonde?" Regulus said staring at Alex. "I don't like it." Alex said scrunching her nose. Regulus smiled "I think you'd look stunning with it."

"Lets get out of here?" Alex said getting up and dragging Regulus with her. Alex walked fast towards a few trees. She looked at Regulus and smiled. Alex stood extremely close to Regulus. She looked up at him. Alex looked all over his face. He had faint freckles and his eyes stood out in the snow. Alexs hand went to touch his lip. "Alex what are-" Regulus was silenced by Alexandras lips on his. Alex pulled back shock on her face.

"I'm so so sorry oh my god i should definitely not have done i'm so so sorry i-" "Alexandra" "if you don't even want to talk to me again i get i-" "Alex" i'm just so-" Regulus pulled Alex by her jacket and attached his lips with hers. Alex melted into his lips. Alexs arms went into his hair and Regulus hands grabbed her waist tightly.

Alex felt fireworks. She felt his soft lips on hers. She slightly opened her mouth for Regulus tongue to slip into her mouth and when she felt the warmth of his tongue she gasped. This felt right. It felt like the stars had aligned. It felt like Alex took a breath of fresh air.

Alex pulled away. Her eye flicking to Regulus' . "You're..extremely red" Regulus smirked. Alex scrunched her nose. "Shut up."

"Like actually vermillion."

"Fuck off Black."
Regulus just laughed as he attached his lips back on hers.

"FINALLY WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG!" Evan Rosier screamed. Regulus and Alex looked at Evan who stood with Barty, Pandora and Antonella, all who had huge grins on their faces.

Christmas break came fast. Alex was boarding the Hogwarts Express. "You're going to be okay right?" Alex asked Regulus as the two sat in a lone compartment. "I'll be okay." Regulus smiled. "If you're not- "

"I'll come to your house, I know Alexandra." Regulus sighed. Alex looked at Regulus with a worried expression. "Alex, I've lived in that house for years. I'm going to be okay."

That didn't comfort Alex. Alex just nodded. Placing a small kiss to Regulus temple. The compartment door slid open and Evan, Barty, Antonella and Pandora walked in and sat down. The odd group all chatted amongst themselves. Alex placed her head on Regulus shoulder and drifted off into a deep sleep.

Alex made her way off the train. Regulus looked around, making sure that his mother and father weren't anywhere in sight. He spun Alex around to face him. He smiled brightly before attaching his lips with hers. "I'll see you soon." Regulus smiled and kissed her forehead. Alex sighed into the small gesture and looked up at him. "I think I like you."

Regulus huffed a laugh. "I think I quite like you too." Regulus replied before kissing her knuckles.

"Im not going to get used to that." James shivered form behind Alex. Alex spun around and glared at her brother before walking past him. She spotted her mother and lunged towards her and engulfing her in a hug. "Did I just see you kiss Regulus Black." Euphemia said tucking a piece of Alexandras stray hair behind her ear. Alex blushed profusely. "I'll tell you all about it later."

Euphemia nodded and smiled before she flung her arm around Alexandras shoulder and they both walked. Sirius and James trailing behind them.
