"Okay so remind me what you're dressing up as?" Alex asks Lily. "A witch." Lily replied. Alex looked at the girl with pursed lips. "You are a witch?" Lily laughed. "Yes I know, but I'm going to dress up as what muggles think witches look like." Alex just nodded. "I have no idea what I'm going to go as." Alex sighed shifting herself on the bed so she faces the ceiling. "Why not a cat?" Lily asked. Alex ears perked up and a small smile played on her lips. "Lily Evans that is a brilliant idea!"
"Okay I'm just going to owl my mum to send me a few things for your costume. See you later." Lily said as she grabbed a piece of parchment and raced out the room.
Halloween was in four days. James had sent out an invite to every sixth year and up in every house to come to the room of requirements on October 31st. In the past couple weeks since school had started, Regulus would often join Alex in the library to study. Instead of both of them fighting each other in Potions class, they partnered up and have become a force to be reckoned with. They hadn't told anyone they we're hanging out. Alex wasn't to sure why they started to hang out with each other. But Alex felt comfortable with Regulus. He was funny, but not like Sirius. He was sarcastic and his humour was dry and it made it all the more better. He was a big help when Alex got stuck and in the years that Alex knew Regulus he hadn't smiled. He would always hide his smile. Even now when Alex and Regulus were hanging out with one another , Alex always knew he was hiding his real smile.
Alex was walking to The Great Hall for dinner when someone grabbed her arm and pushed her into a supply closet. The closet was dark but soon the person who grabbed her casted 'lumos'.
There stood Evan Rosier. "Hey pretty lady." The blonde boy smiled. "Hello Evan, may I ask why you kidnapped me?" Alex inquired.
"I did not kidnap you!" Evan defended. The door soon opened and Barty Crouch Jnr came in and quickly shut the door. "Miss Princess." Barty said bowing. Alex grunted a laugh. "Hi Barty."
"Okay have you asked her yet?" Barty looked at Evan. "No I haven't you interrupted." Evan said crossing his arms. "Okay love calm down there." Barty rolled his eyes. Alex raised her eyebrows. "Um boys, I'm kind of hungry and my mates are going to wonder where I am." Alex said pressing her lips together.
"Oh right! What are you going as to the Halloween party?" Evan asked with a lopsided grin. Alex tilted her head. "Uh a cat why?"
"Okay thank you, you may go now pretty lady." Evan said opening the door. Alex mouth twitched into a smile and she walked out the broom closet and made her way to The Great Hall for dinner.

Alex was applying her lip gloss as Lily unfolded Alexs outfit for the night. Alex looked over to the outfit and gasped. "Lily this barely covers anything!"
