PHILADELPHIA WAS THE HOOD TO RACHEL'S PART. A CITY THAT WAS HER HOME AND ONLY BELONGED TO LIVE THERE FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE.
Due to her past, she was forced to leave her home by her own family due to her mental illness. They were too strict and selfish to handle and focus on it.
Now she was with her only closest friend Honey, living in an apartment by the streets and nearby neighborhoods around.
And those neighborhoods weren't just normal one. Those were the biggest gangs to exist in South Philly.
Most to say, there was indeed one guy that was known to everyone of them. Known to be the most dangerous and psychotic one.
Michael.
Rachel knew to never get near him. Not even look at him. But she had seen him around by her window when she would be late at night awake.
Michael was something else. Someone which's mother or father would warn their children about.
They would call him words, such as crazy, stupid and arrogant. If it would come to describing him.
Rachel didn't exactly know him in person. Her friend Honey had warned her about him. She clearly didn't feel safe about him too.
Giggles and conversations were heard when it was Honey & Rachel walking down the street by their neighbors.
It was already dark and it some of them guys were hanging outside their roof as they always did.
Honey was understood with them guys nearby the streets. With guys that hated Michael from head to toe. That's why he would give her a dead look most of the time.
Michael was a part of the Jax Gang. At least a three other friends that had his back. Meanwhile, he was most of the time by himself.
"Yo Honey. How you pullin' up girl." Jason gave her a hug which she returned as they broke apart. "Y'all remember Honey next door?"
His homies nodded at her as their eyes traveled to Rachel that stood a little inches back behind. She wasn't known to be talking to them.
"Yo ain't that Rachel?" One of them asked.
Honey turned and looked at Rachel that had her arms crossed with a calm expression, clearly not actually in the mood to be nearby them.
"Yeah she's with me." Honey smiled and they nodded. "So what's new?"
Jason inhaled as he turned to his homeboys that snickered. "Michael's what's up." Rachel's ears perked at that.
"W—what happened?" Honey questioned as her brows furrowed.
"He been forcing my cousin Chris to owe him money. If he ain't paying him back he will beat his ass up." Jason explained and scoffed. "That bloke is finished."
Honey nodded as she sighed. "I'm just glad that Rachel ain't a part of all of this. Regardless of the way he looks at me, I'm still lucky." She rolled her eyes.
That's when the guys' attention was directed somewhere else that had made the girls frown and turn their head to where they looked at, only to see Michael walking the opposite street down.
He had that dark look on his face as it was directed to everyone of them. Most of the time, it was Jason and Michael having a staring contest. It was silent as ever until he had passed them.
"Lemme not forget that look he has which has everyone pissin' them pants for. We know what's up with that homie."
Honey looked at Rachel that but her lip. "Alright, I'll see ya." They nodded as the two took a turn and walked next by to their apartment.
When they got to the door, Honey turned turned to Rachel that looked at her. "What."
"Make sure you stay away from him." Honey warned.
Rachel stared at her with a blank expression. "Who?"
Honey gave her a look. "Michael, duh." Rachel rolled her eyes while the door opened and got in.
And for the rest of the night, Rachel kept in mind that she mostly never listened to anyone.
