AFTER MICHAEL'S MOMENT WITH DRE AND HIS FRIENDS, RACHEL WAS WALKING DOWN THE STREET AT NIGHT AFTER SHE WAS DONE WITH HER NIGHT SHIFT.
She was clearly avoiding any person that would come in her way. Especially since it was late. She should've called Honey to pick her up but she was over at her friends house, staying there for the night.
"Ooh! Now that a chick!" A man wrapped an arm around her shoulders as Rachel pushed him away and tried to walk away but then two other men surrounded her as she grew worried.
"You not going anywhere baby girl." The man creepily smiled.
"Best if you stay right here." The other said until a car pulled up with a slam.
"Get the hell away from her." Rachel sighed in relief as she recognized that voice since the men had backed away from you. Everyone knew Michael and they knew not to mess with him no matter what. Michael looked over at Rachel. "Get in."
She walked over and got in the car as he did the same and continued driving. "Thank you."
Michael nodded a bit in answer as he looked at her then back to the road. "Shouldn't be walkin' this late."
"I had night shift."
"Shit, you working?" Michael questioned, obviously taken back. Rachel nodded and Michael snickered at that. "No wonder you keep up in that apartment. What you doin' after?"
"Planned to go home."
"Honey's ass ain't wit you?" Rachel shook her head.
"She over at her friends house for a night. They didn't see each other for a long time." Michael scoffed.
"She livin' with you. Why go over to another friends house?" He took a turn as Rachel realized he wasn't driving to her apartment.
"Where are you taking me?"
"At mine."
She would've complained but of course she was fine with it and just sat back. As long as Honey was away for the night, she could do that too which was no big deal.
Later on, they arrived and were now inside, letting Rachel examine the area all around with a little smile on her face. She was excited after all by being with him.
"You live alone right?"
Michael nodded. "Mhmm." He then took off to his bedroom to probably change or something.
Rachel took the time to sit on the couch and scroll through her phone as she waited for him.
Then, Michael arrived in his black, tight tank shirt and dark sweatpants along as he made his way to the kitchen to get something to eat. "You want somethin'?"Rachel only shook her head. "I'm good."
He made himself a cereal as he grabbed a spoon and made his way to the table and sat down. His dark curls were wrapped in a low tail as some of the strands were by his face which looked attractive.
Rachel scoffed and smiled with a shook of her head as she made her way to sit down the couch. "You're a clumsy one sometimes. Not gonna lie."
He placed his spoon in the cereal at that and leaned against the chair as he straight faced her. "I just got back from the gym, hell do you think why."
The brunette shrugged. "I don't know. Some' is different with you."
Michael scoffed and focused back on eating. Rachel felt like there was really something different with him ever since they arrived in the house.
"Quit starin'."
Rachel sighed. "Just wondering."
" 'Bout what." He gulped his cereals down as he stood up to walk back to the kitchen.
"You getting all clumsy and lookin' tired much. Go get some sleep." Rachel said, knowing it was gonna get his attention on that one.
He stopped walking, pretending like he didn't hear her and turned his head by his shoulder, cocking a brow at her. "You said what?" Rachel grabbed strands of her curls to hide her face as she sheepishly smiled. Michael lowly chuckled at that. "Gettin' all shy now." He turned to proceed and leave his plate by the sink and walk back towards her. "Since when you acting all bossy, especially in my apartment?"
He sat down next to her and grabbed the remote. "Just looking after this 80's curled head lookin' guy that's all moody."
Michael paused as he turned his head to her, having to look down since she was leant back by the couch.
"Who you callin' a 80's curled head for?"
"Ever since I thought of it. Which was now. Either way, that's your curls. Don't worry I'm not laughin' at you. They look good." Rachel smirked and shrugged.
"I don't know who you callin' a 80's curled head but only my homeboys do that. I don't want you callin' me that." He turned back to the TV.
"Okay," Rachel wasn't going to finish that as her eyes moved to side eye him before muttering. "80 curled head."
She proceeded to jump off but he was fast like speed as his arm was wrapped around her waist and pressed towards his chest as he tickled her sides. "Whatchu say? Huh?"
Rachel laughed as she tried to move away from him but he was too strong. "I'm sorry!"
He stopped at that and turned back to the TV. "Thas what your little ass gets."
"I'm not scared of you."
That made the whole room go quiet when he was still. The only thing moving was the corner of his lips lifting up as he drifted his eyes to Rachel.
And that was it when her heart began pounding. He turned his head to her as he slowly lifted himself to climb over her as his face was close to hers, making Rachel back up against the couch so that he was on top of her.
He knew he got her now. The only way of shutting her up was to tease her. He brushed a finger by the side of her face as he examined her.
"Such a tease." Rachel dried out making him lowly chuckle as he bit his lip which turned her immediately on.
Michael lowered slowly down and brought his lips on hers as they were lingering to each other into a deep kiss.
Rachel inhaled through her nostrils as she sneaked her hands into his curls as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Their lips slowly and softly moved as they were craving the kiss that they both have been waiting for.
And that was going to be a different way for them now.
Feelin' like I ain't good at these :()
