RACHEL WAS KNOCKING ON MICHAEL'S DOOR. SHE NEEDED TO SEE HIM AND MOST LIKELY TALK TO DISCUSS THINGS WITH HIM.
He opened the door and only looked at her. "Hey." Rachel greeted as she fiddled on the strap of her bag.
He nodded and let the door wider as he was walking to the couch. She stepped in and closed it and walked over to sit on the couch a little away from him since the was spawned on it.
"Wassup." He spoke up as in fact asking for news since that was all people did when they came over to visit him.
"Honey is trying to use me as an evidence for Jason that went missing, apparently because of you." Rachel turned her head to him, seeing his dark eyes set on her already.
"You doin' it?" He rose a brow.
Rachel widened her eyes and quickly shook her head. "No, God no. I told her that she shouldn't even think about it."
She looked back down to fiddle with her fingers, her dark curls falling to the side of her face, not realizing that Michael was staring at her.
"Did I kiss you today?" Rachel looked up to him as she grinned at that and broke into a smile, shaking her head at that sudden call out. He sat up and leaned towards her as he kissed her deeply before pulling away. "And Jason, I got no idea. That dumbass probs left 'cause he got scared I was gon' do sum."
Rachel rose a brow in question. "You sure?" Michael slowly nodded, keeping his cool. Rachel sighed as she looked down.
That's when he got up to get to the kitchen. "How you pullin' up recently."
Rachel nodded. "Good. Just Jason's friend, Derek apparently —I don't know if that was his name— cornered me last night."
Suddenly, he stopped walking and it made her feel goosebumps everywhere as he slowly turned around to face her with a hard look on his face now.
"Fuck he do to you?"
Rachel straightened up and shook her head. "Nothing just... threatened me because of you and the whole Jason thing. Until a friend of his stopped him and pulled him away."
Looking at him, his eyes was flashing with fire as he clenched his jaw. He looked deep mad at the moment.
"He touched you?"
"No, he didn't touch me. I promise." Michael felt relieved to hear that but still he was gonna corner that Derek dude if he would see him anywhere by the streets.
Her eyes never left his movements that had appeared in the kitchen, reading him like a book already. "That doesn't mean that you should do sum to him."
He scoffed under his breath as he slowly turned by his shoulder. "I ain't catch myself sayin' that."
"But yo ass was thinkin' that." She pointed out which had him grunt in amusement and turn fully to face her and rest against the kitchen counter.
"You reading me like a book now?" He rose a brow, taunting her.
Rachel shrugged and cocked her head to the side. "You're easy to read. Maybe not for everyone but I'm getting to know you everyday better."
"You ain't knowing a lot still, Rachel. Best believe, you're little ass ain't want to." Michael directed as he didn't break his eyes from her.
Rachel sighed as she also thought of that. She had kept that in mind too, but still that didn't mean that she wasn't gonna get to know him any better.
"How you want me to know you or help you better if I can't know you further than I do at the moment?" That made him silent for a moment, like he was proceeding to think of an answer while his dark eyes looked through her.
He inhaled while turning away. "I don't want yo ass gettin' hurt, Rachel."
It was another reason for Rachel to understand what he was referring to if it came to his problems such as wanting to know him better.
"I know and I get you. But... why you holding me hostage then? For what?" She questioned but stood soft in her tone as she watched him.
He was silent as she felt like he was thinking or needing to pause to answer the question which had him trapped at the moment. Rachel got him with it.
He kissed his teeth but didn't answer as he proceeded to keep doing his thing in the kitchen, proving Rachel that she wasn't gonna get an answer.
Rachel sighed as she looked down and fiddled with her fingers. He possibly was hard to deal with.
It went quiet as she hadn't realized since she felt a figure standing in front of her which was now kneeling down to her eye level.
"Hey." Rachel looked up to those dark eyes. "I've been through this my entire life. Ain't nothin' to worry 'bout."
Michael reassured, clearly not wanting her to go feral about his issues. Rachel heard a lot, but didn't know a lot. She had to though.
"I don't know, feel like I have to worry."
Michael slowly smiled as he but his lip. "You caring about me now, huh?"
Rachel moved her eyes up to his with a little glare as she slightly pushed him away as he chuckled and bought her in a kiss.
He wiped the strands of hair from her face as he admired her face and placed a hand on her neck to stroke her cheek with his thumb.
"You will tell me one day, right?" Rachel softly asked, hope lingering in the sentence.
All Michael could do was stare into her eyes a clear emotion on his face which could tell that he was gonna think about it or either that it was a hard decision to make. His problems were def something else.
He slowly nodded, his eyes staring into hers which was a dangerous tension by how his looked since he was all about dark features.
It gave her goosebumps but it also turned her on at some point.
To the moment on, she was gonna keep her eyes on him and find out details in the most silent way. Or maybe Michael was gonna reveal himself in the possible way.
