Chapter 21

Two weeks earlier.

Avery and Elenor came last night, we all slept in my room and the next thing we know; we're in the living room with all of our parents.

''Did.. we do something..?'' Avery asks looking In between them.

Her dad glared at her ''Alex told us a few things of what you guys have been doing in the boarding school'' I gulped. Avery's mum put her hand on his shoulder which instantly made him soften.

I love them.

I hope I'll find someone like that.

That's really cheesy and cringy never mind.

We all stay silent. None says a word.

This is so cringey and awkward I feel like I might throw up, AGAIN.

My dad looks at me ''We have a business, which is quite different from others..'' he stopped and looked at my mum.

She gave him a reassurance look.

He didn't continue though, my mum looked at the others and they all looked shady, ''girls, we love you all very, very much!!! More then you could think, so please don't be mad at us for this— we.. we're just trying to protect all of you from this'' my mum stopped.

My brother sighed ''We're a mafia, we have always been and have been lying to you.'' He got up and put a hand on my shoulder which I jerked away.

It's quite amusing ''babe, please.. it's not time for joking, just tell us what's up, I need to get going, I'm dying my hair today'' I roll my eyes.

Elenor's dad looked at me ''Madison, we're not joking, we- we need to talk about this'' I start laughing uncontrollably, I am rolling on the floor tears in my eyes.

''Stop— stop- oh my— you guys— I didn't know you.. - you could— you could be so funny—'' I try to talk through out my laughter.

Avery was slightly laughing a little and Elenor was just— there..

She didn't say anything, she looked serious, like she knew this was true.

I finally stop laughing but when I looked at everyone else in the room who were looking at me like I have a mental problem, which I do not; made me laugh again. Now could you blame me?? Their so funny!!?? Likeeeee—

My brother gave me a glare, 5 minutes later of silence and stares as I was rolling on the floor passed.

I get up and sit on the couch, I cross my legs, throw my bangs to the side with my fingers and put my hand on my right knee which was on top of my other leg. I then put on a straight face.. for 3.56 seconds!!! Like that's a record I swear!!!

My mum came and put a hand on my mouth before I could start laughing again, and my brother was holding me by my shoulders.

I was trying to maintain my laughter, ''Madison-'' my dad warned which made me burst out into laughter.

''Omg did y'all have sex?'' I question Elenor, the reason I knew it because she has been awfully quite and I just realised why. She then blushed at my question. It was totally random but who cares?
