Chapter 24

''Remind me why I'm doing this again.'' I whisper shout as Avery was trying to get over the fence.

''Because Madison needs this'' she says in a 'duh' tone. I nod and quickly start climbing over the gate aswell.

As I was climbing Avery hit me with her leg in the face which made me fall backwards and her on top of me.

''Fuck-'' I groan, still feeling dizzy, ''oh- I'm so so sorry!! Are you okay???'' She quickly gets up and gives me her hand. I take it.

I nod slowly, ''Yeah- I'm good..'' I think I'm seeing stars.. is that what Madison is seeing right now?

I try to go back to the gate but I fall over my own feet, ''Elenor- are you okay?'' I nod again.

''Let's just do this- come on! For Madison!!'' I put my fist up.

''Maybe- we should go home? We can come in the morning..?'' She looks at me concerned which makes me whimper.

''It's fineee!!!! Come onnnn'' I get on the gate again and start climbing it, Avery is behind me making sure I won't fall, I'm on top and look down.

Oh fuck. It's so small- I mean tall..- I mean it's so big- just- just look at it..

''Avery- the distance is sooooooo big!!!!'' I look down scared, she puts her hands on my shoulder which makes me look up at her.

''Elenor-.. we're on the ground..? We did it..? Are you sure you're okay?'' She pays my back slightly.

I nod. ''Yeah. Yeah'' I wave my right hand like it's nothing.

''Let's get the flowers and get the fuck out of here'' Avery takes my hand and starts guiding me to where it was.

Madison's favourite flowers are roses, she's very specific about what she wants; she only likes the roses from here, when we were kids we used to sneak out come in the woods, jump over the gate and pluck out the blood looking flowers.

I don't like them, I swear sometimes I think I'm allergic to them, I don't like flowers.

We get to where the rows of roses are and start plucking out flowers.

I pluck out 27 flowers and Avery plucked out 31, we then put the roses together and make them look like a huge bouquet.

We make it back to the car and I go on the drivers side before Avery stops me, ''girl, you're not in the right state of mind to drive right now, I'm not trying to die, as long as Madison is alive.''

I nod and go sit in the front sit, not complaining.

Avery starts driving and we out on Madison's album, we sing along with her. God I miss her voice.

I know that Avery does too because of the look on her face. We make it to Madison's mansion and we sneak back in. It's 3am humans, everyone is sleeping.

We start going up the stairs, taking our boots off, we're both wearing boots, which by the way are HEAVY as fuck.

We quickly get into Madison's room, find Ace by her side, his face in her neck sleeping peacefully.

It's a good thing he's sleeping, he hasn't slept at all since the Madison thing. The doctor said that she'll wake up soon. I thank god every fucking day.

I look down at them with awe, Avery is literally about to cry with the biggest smile on her face.

''Where do we sleep?'' I whisper looking back at them. Their the perfect match. Avery shrugs, ''let's go in one of the guest bedrooms'' I nod and we head towards there.

We get there, put on some pjs and go to sleep, before we do that we make sure to put the flowers in a pot with water.

I wake up with eyes on me, I look up and see Madison's beautiful hazel eyes looking at me with something I can't quite put out.

My heart skips a beat, blinking a few times to make sure she's real and I'm not dreaming.

''Mads—?'' I whisperer barely audible, she looks down at me her face now serious.

''Baby— I- I missed you-'' I go and hug her tightly, kissing her soft pink lips.

She pushed me away, ''sorry.. do I know you..'' she pushes back looking at me with fear.

My heart drops.
