(7) Moving Alone

*2 Weeks Later* Mikey's Pov*

I just got finished telling Ashton and Calum about Luke. He was going home today so we thought it best to be the time, but then Michael chickened out, so here I am. They were both just staring at me dumb-foundedly. They both just kept asking questions, some I didn't even have an answer for, but I understand why they are so confused by this. I mean the schools biggest bully wants to date both Ashton and Michaela. (The Michaela part I am not happy about. She's too young for a boyfriend in my opinion.) 

After awhile, I think it finally set in to both of them and they just sat in silence until Calum spoke up, "So what now?"

"I guess we just let him be our friend until all of us fully trust him enough to think on the idea of actually starting relationships with him. I know I'm definitely not letting him anywhere near Michaela or even know about our DID until I fully trust him."

"Ya, your right Mikey, I'm not letting him anywhere near Michaela or Ashton, your both my best friends and partners and I'm not letting him hurt you two."

I smiled knowing that Calum was on the same page with me. I know he will protect Ashton and Michaela when I'm not around. "Do we want to go see him after school? If not, we don't have too"

I looked over trying to understand Ash's emotional state. He hasn't said a word this entire time. "Ash, baby?"

He looked up at me. "H-he's bullied me so much.. I - I can't trust him"

He had tears in his eyes and looked so scared. I instantly moved over, grabbing Ash and pulling him against my chest. "Shh, it's alright darling. I'm sorry"

He quietly cried for a minute as I rocked him against me. Luke really played a number on him mentally. I don't know if he would ever trust him again. Luke better really step up his game to gain his trust back. 

Once Ashton calmed down we all headed to our after lunch classes. The rest of the school day went pretty well and we all met down at my car at the end of the day. Ashton walked up and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Mikey?"

"Yes darling, it's still me."

I leaned down kissing his forehead as he cuddled closer into me. I held onto him until Calum walked up to us. "You two ready to go hang out?"

Ash let go, excitingly turning around, "Of course we are. We're with our favorite people"

Calum and I both smiled watching Ashton. We all pilled into my car and headed back to our house. I walked up stairs and flopped down onto my bed. The other two followed, sitting down as well. We all just hanged out together for a pretty long while. What am I gonna do with everybody?.

*A month later* Mikey's Pov*

I was standing out by my car smoking a cigarette when Luke came walking up to me. He had gotten out about three weeks ago but was still looking like shit. "Hey, Where's your other two?"

"Still at lunch, I just needed a smoke"

"I feel that"

He pulled one out of his pocket, lighting it up. "So, have they said anything about what I told you in the hospital?"

"I mean, not really.. They still are very weary and not liking you Luke. You fucked a lot up. Bullying Ashton was your biggest mistake. It's gonna take a long while before the trust you, let alone fall in love with you." 

He looked down, kicking down rocks. "I know Mikey, I know. I'll figure my shit out and be better for them. Now I've got more time since I wont be able to graduate this year now."
