i was wondering if you wanted to come to this total drama reunion that me and geoff are hosting with everyone in total drama island! lots of people have already agreed, sooo do you want to come too??

total drama reunion? i never thought that that that would happen. should i go? it would be nice to see bridgette, geoff.. dj too!

that sounds so cool! like a party with them.. but no cameras.. no challenges.. no chris!! this is great! until he remembered that if everyone would be invited, so would courtney. courtney had stopped contacting him after all stars, and while he acted like he didn't care, he really did. he thought about her a lot and how she was doing. he would think about their dates and regret everything he did to her and always hated the past him for that. he would check courtney's instagram to see how she was doing, and always smiled when he saw her face again. he missed her smile and glow so much, so he was actually happy about this.

after a few minutes of thinking about the reunion, he decided to go over to his friends house that he met in college.

*knocks

"who is it?" a voice called from the inside of the house.

duncan's friend, tom, lived in a really nice apartment with his pet dog.

"duncan, open up. i need to talk to you."

the door unlocks and tom steps out of the doorway to signal 'come in' to duncan.

"soo... what is it you need to talk to me about at 9:30pm??" tom said with a slight hint of annoyance.

"remember how i was on total drama island like.. five years ago?" duncan started.

"mhm" tom said locking the door and walking over to his kitchen with duncan.

"well my friend geoff and his girlfriend bridgette decided to plan this reunion with all of us." duncan told tom.

"right, i can sense there's a problem with that.. what is it?"

tom was right, there was a problem.

"well you know my ex, courtney?" duncan said, trying to hide his blush.

"the one your obsessed with?"

"wow, that's a strong word." duncan pauses.
"yeah." he says after the pause.

tom laughs and asks duncan to continue.

"well i'll have to see her again, and i want to be friends with her again.. but i don't think she wants anything to do with me anymore." duncan replied.

tom walks over next to duncan and saw he was holding his head low.

"hey, hey! dude, don't worry about it. i'm sure she will want to talk with you" tom said to duncan, but he wasn't sure that courtney would. he knew that duncan did a crappy thing and he understood courtney for hating duncan after that.

"yeah.. i don't believe that." duncan turned to say to tom.
why couldn't we just talk this out.

tom and duncan talked about it for the rest of the night, until it was around 11pm.

"i think i'm gonna go now." duncan said.

"it was nice talking, duncan. hope it goes well!"
tom said with a smile.
i hope so too.
