Today is the Day

I jolted out my bed and turned my alarm off. I stretched my arms before getting out my bed. I stood there for a few minutes before fully gathering my consious.

"Lets do this" I said happily

I grabbed my clothes for the day layed them on my bed. I walked into my bathroom and turned on the shower. I took my time to get in, trying to hold my excitment for the day.

'Today is the day, today is the day!' I thought repeatedly

If you don't know what I'm excited about it's that today is the day that I'll finally be able to host try outs for Flyer Derpy. Today at 6:00pm It will finally happen. After years off trying and begging. Even with Amity and Gus helping me to pull this off. I finally have enough recruts to join, YAY.

I turned of my shower and dryed myself with my towel. I put on my clothes one by one. Then started to brush my teeth, once finished I spitted out my toothpaste. I looked at my mirror with determination

"Today is the day. The day you've been waiting for. you got this, you got this" I took in a deep breath and out before making my bed and heading downstairs into the kitchen to grab breakfast where my dads also were.

"Good morning Papa" I side hugged him

"Good morning my little flower" He hugged back

I sat beside him and started eating my breakfast quickly. "Woah slow down there" My other Dad said rubbing my back I guess I ate a little too quickly

"Sorry Dad"

"It's okay just eat slowly, we don't want anything happening the day of tryouts now do we" he softly chuckled

I swallowed the last bite of my food "Of course" I grabbed my backpack "Love you Dads, bye!" they said their bye's and I left out the door and headed my way to school

"Today is the Day"

I walked into my first hour class and sat in my regular seat behind Gus. He was writing something down in his notebook. Not really paying attention to anything around him. I leaned forward in my seat and greated him with a small "Hi Gus"Gus perked up in his seat and turned around with a smile plastered on his face"Hey Willow needs something" He said happily

"Yeah do you think during Lunch you can go over and see who's on the sign up sheet again"

"Sure it's on my laptop in the council room, I'll just grab it when I pass thru there"

"Thanks"

Gus and I sat back in our seats, he continued writing down in his notebook.  The teachers started talking  and I could barely concentrate on what she was talking about. I was extremly excited for today. I just couldn't wait, I just know that this will be good day.
