No ones pov: *A few years ago....*

"Hey, Luke?" Zander asked as he looked over to the man he was cuddling. "Yes, hunny?" Luke responded as he collided a smile onto his lips. "When I die... I'm going to be a black cat." Zander exclaimed as he lifted his head, so he was looking directly at his lover. "Zander! Don't say that-" Luke chuckled.
"I mean it." Zander laughed back. The two cuddled closer together as Zander hugged Lukes waist as his back was buried under the auburns arm. Luke smiled at his action as he pecked his forehead lightly.

Still no ones pov: *Time now*

It had been a few years since Zander had sadly committed suicide... He had enough of life and wanted to be free. Luke was happy he could be a joyful spirit but missed him dearly... He craved all the time and continues texted his old number.. He read through all their old text messages of wholesome memories and stared at old photos of them. He would do anything to see this man again... The love of his life...

The autumn-haired man sighed as he sat at his tainted window. He looked out at the sunset as he admired the birds flying though the wind and the tree branches swaying in a dancing motion. Luke was wearing a tie for once. Not just any tie though. Zanders tie. He tugged at it as he smoothed it out with his fingers. Everyone had told him he just had to get over Zander, but that was clearly impossible for Luke..

Zander had always told Luke to wear his glasses and he had always refused. Until now, he was finally wearing his glasses since god knows when. He brushed his soft locks of hair with his fingernails, as his eyes softened at the view of the sky before him. The sunlight reflected onto his skin as he became more fragile by the second. He thought of his last memory with Zander...

*Flashback*

"Susnets remind me of you." Zander exclaimed as he clutched Lukes hand. They were sat infront of a small window, gazing out into the horizon of the sunny and warm colours that flowed through the sky. Luke hummed in response as he wrapped an arm around his lover. Zander simply just grinned as he leaned his head next to Lukes. "I love you..." Luke mumbled as he closed his eyes. "I love you too, idiot..." Zander chuckled as his eyes softened, whilst the two caressed this memory.

*Flashback eneded*

Tears begun to pierce Lukes eyes as he imagined Zander next to him, glancing at the view. He was sat at the exact same table and infront of the same window... He knew Zander didn't want to see him upset, so he wiped his tears away and smiled calmly at the thoughtful memory..

Suddenly, a creature had caught his eye. A black cat was sitting on a fence at the back of his garden. It had lilac eyes and a pure, black coat. It stared at Luke with its large, beady eyes as it swished its tail side-to-side. Luke memorised some of Zanders words, "When I die... Im going to come back as a black cat and watch over you..." Luke thought he was being deranged again as he stood up from his seat and went to get ready for work.

As Luke came back from his job he turned his head to the side, as the same black cat caught his attention. It was definitely staring at his direction. Lukes eyes travelled back to where he had been walking and went inside his home.

"The cat can't possibly be Zander.. It can't be.." Luke mumbled to himself as he fidgeted with the metallic, ombre tie around his neck. He sighed as he pulled the tie off where his scarf would usually be and went to cook dinner. Zanders favorite of course.

After many failed attempts at cooking, Luke finally had a finished unburnt meal! He felt proud of himself as he took it to the table in delight. He sat down and begun to eat.

After a while, Lukes golden, sun-kissed eyes stared back to the window as usual. The black cat once again was in the same spot. What did he want from Luke? Lord did Luke want to have an answer.

After a few months, the black cat was always in the same spot on the same fence. Luke had, had enough. He got into his car and typed into his satnal, 'Nearest pet shops in rosemeadow'. As he scrolled through a few places he found one he was familiar with. Daisy's animal shelter! Perfect, he could get some cat food and meet his cousin at the same time! :)

He happily drove for a full five minutes as he finally reached his destination. He quickly got out of his car and sprinted inside the shelter.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" Luke questioned as he looked around his surroundings as pet stuff lied in every corner. "Oh! Hello, how can I he- Luke! Oh, its really nice to see you! What can I do for you?" Daisy asked as she popped her head around a doorway. "Hi, Daisy! I just wanted to ask if you had any cat food?" Luke questioned. "Well, of course! Why wouldn't I? This is a 'animal shelter' for a reason, Luke." Daisy laughed as she showed Luke the Isles of pet food. The aubrun-haired man grabbed a box of packets and payed for the food. He thanked his relative and drove off.

Luke walked over the front door as he eyed the black cat behind him. He was stern and mysterious...

Luke walked over to one of the kitchen counters as he used a pair of scissors and sliced the tape that was keeping the food locked away. He grabbed a packet and walked out the door with a bowl. He slowly placed it down near the entrance of his comforting home and poured the packet of food inside.

He backed away from the bowl as he looked back at the cat. Lukes eyes softned once more as the cats eyes travelled over his presence.

Moments later, the cat cautiously climbed down from the fence and approached the food. He awkwardly looked at Luke before crouching down in a loaf position and begun to eat the food. Luke smiled as he knelt down infront of the cat. He tenderly stroked its head as liquid tears begun to fall out of his eyes again. He gave an adorable smile as he stroked the cats fur in a circular pattern.

He was sure that this was his lovers spirit with him...

I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT IVE WRITTEN THIS QUITE WELL-
I hope you guys rly liked this bc I seriously enjoyed writing it!
