Vivid colours swooped along leaf by leaf, a fiery sense of autumn picking in the air. Summer had left, so it was no autumn's time to shine along RoseMeadow. Kids had groaned at the thought of autumn, the pure state of the cold coming back to their bodies didn't feel nice. 2 boys on the other hand, adored autumn. It was their favourite season. One where they came together as a couple and shared the best of memories.

A teenager with bright, golden eyes rode on his bicycle happily, his lover not too far behind. His laugh echoed through the air, speeding up down the road that was covered in beautiful, orange, ruby, and marmalade coloured leaves that had fallen from the trees.

"L-Luke!" The periwinkle-eyed behind him yelled, "Slow down!!" He managed to get out, his heart beating rapidly as he panted. He wasn't the kind to do sports, in fact he normally skipped PE as his teachers had enough of constantly having to persuade him for 45 minutes straight just to kick a ball in a round of football (or soccer for the Americans). "Whoops! Sorry hunny! I can't help but want to see all of the autumn leaves!!" Luke yelled, it was practically a squeal. Zander smiled in response, laughing to himself at Luke's childish behaviour before he rode ahead to catch up.

Zander's eyes cascaded along the view upfront, it was truly beautiful. It was too gorgeous to be described.. It had a feeling of passion running through it, the bluebell colour of the sky sinking into a soft hue of orange from how the evening was settling in. Not to mention the sheer amount of leaves scattered on the pavement, road, and grassy meadows near the homes of the street they were on.

Luke's locks of hair flew around in the wind, giving Zander the chance to capture every single feature of his perfect self. The bright yellow of his eyes shining every time he saw something he truly loved, his auburn hair matching his tanned skin, and the way his woolly scarf always hung around his neck perfectly. The older couldn't help but notice the light of the sunset before them stream down Luke's usual butterscotch eyes. He had tints of orange and red now at the peaks of his pupils, only making him even more beautiful.

After another few minutes, Luke came to a stop, making Zander pause in his riding also. In front of them was a woodland, well, you say that but there was never any trees as they had been cut down. It was covered in leaves, sticks, and old plants, and of course you can't forget pumpkins. Zander's jaw dropped before it came back up to a wide grin. Luke made an adorable giggle at Zander's reaction, parking the bikes up a tree before intertwining his hand with his soulmates and running right into the piles of fall.

They collapsed happily into a pile of leaves, laughs and yells escaping their vocal cords as quick as they had fallen in love. Zander playfully threw leaves at Luke's face, making them laugh all the more. Before Luke could sit up, Zander pushed him back down and grabbed a handful of leaves, throwing them into his face again, "Zander!! You won't even give me a chance!!" Luke chuckled, putting his hand on Zander's face to push him away, making him laugh. Luke took his chance and grabbed as many leaves as he could, tackling his lover with them. He screamed in delight, squirming around in the pile of leaves before he finally managed to sit up. He blew a few leaves out of his bangs, his smile never leaving his blossom-coloured lips.
