Two young boys were walking along the woodland path, their footsteps crunching against the ground in a soft vibration. The sun shone over their heads, making streaks of lighter shades in their hair. Their hands intertwined, the soothing silence still overtaking them. The peri-winkle eyed looked over at the vibrant, green trees, spring taking its moment to let loose and be free. The leaves had begun to grow back, the wind brushing through the branches and rattling at the roots and all that walked the path's hair. A smile went onto the his lips, his eyes glowing at the thought of rain showers going off here and there. He enjoyed the rain as weird as it sounds. His entire family hated being drenched by the skies miserably days, but he would dance around and let himself get wet with joy. At a young age, he'd pretend the raindrops on his car window were racing, he'd sit out in trains and watched as the trains went by in the rain as a train bridge used to go over his street, and he'd listen to music at full volume at his bedroom window whilst the pattering of rain flew through the musical notes.

He gave out a sigh, a miniature smile still stuck on his lips. The boy beside him noticed his positive expression, giving him a playful nudge and asking, "What are you thinking about?"
"The rain I guess.. It's very beautiful when it drops against the trees," Zander muttered, his eyes softening at the daydream of the puddles that soaked their feet on the floor. Luke let out a soft chuckle, squeezing Zander's hand, "I don't think it'll be raining anytime soon love, but I'll let you know when it does," He spoke, a thought going into his head at the same time, like a light bulb had just pinged above his head. "Gahhh, okaayy.." Zander frowned.

The tree branches rubbed against one another, a cooling and gentle breeze blowing through the gaps of spring. A small smile came onto the violet-haired man's lips, his back resting against the willow tree in Luke's garden. Suddenly, he felt small drops of water splash all over his hair, his clothes becoming drenched by the second. He looked up and noticed it wasn't coming from the sky..? It was coming from the house. Zander turnt his head to find Luke in the doorway, holding the house hose and tilting it up in the air, "Oh-Sorry, Zan," Luke chuckled out of embarrassment, "You said you liked the rain a lot earlier so.. If you didn't want to get wet I'm sorry!" Luke continued. The older man rolled his eyes playfully, standing up and approaching his lover. He took the hose from his hand and it held it up above them, both getting them wet whilst Zander put his other hand on Luke's shoulder. "Now we can both enjoy it," He smiled, his eyes beaming. A grin creeped up onto Luke's face, his hands finding their way to Zander's waist, and before they knew it the two of them were giggling and spinning around together, getting soaked by the hose. The sun ray's lit up over them, making rainbows above their heads as they kept twirling around and moving together at the same time.

All of a sudden, Zander's foot tripped over a rock, making both of them fall over and onto the grass. Zander's hand let go of the hose, causing all the water to spray into Luke's face. The older snorted as he grabbed the hose and put it facing the sky again, immediately laughing until he was coughing. Luke laughed a little himself, his arms around his boyfriend as they stayed on the floor, water pouring down onto them. "I love you so much you silly billy," Zander giggled, sitting up a bit, Luke's hands the back of his partners head. "I love you too," He chuckled, pressing a kiss to Zander's forehead.
