Luke couldn't help but giggle uncontrollably, his hand covering his mouth at the sight of his lover, covered in absolute slime. Zander had (sadly) been partnered up with Jake in science (very bad decision), and they argued so much about the experiment, they weren't paying attention, the whole liquid to just explode on them.

Zander blew some of the green muck of his bangs, his expression filled with irritation, "Could you quit laughing..?" He murmered, gazing at Luke.
"I-I'm sorry! This is too funny!" He chuckled, trying to wipe some of the gew off Zander's poor face. "I have a detention now.." Zander mumbled, his brows furrowing as he stared at the ground. "C'mon Zan, it shouldn't be too bad! I think Milly's in there, so you don't have to be with just Jake!" Luke tried reassure, cupping Zander's face and pecking his nose. Zander huffed in response, glancing at Jake from afar as he spoke to Hailey about some new music ideas.

After a long 30 minutes, Zander was finally allowed out of the detention room, Luke leant against a locker waiting for him. His eyes brightened up at the sight of Zander, a smile tugging on the edges of his lips. He approached Zander, and comfortably wrapped an arm around the mauve-haired's waist, "How was it? Was it as bad as you thought?" Luke questioned. Zander sighed in defeat, "No.. Jake didn't really bother me, nor did Milly, I kinda just sat there reading to be fair," He admitted. Luke smiled in response, nudging the shorter playfully, "Told you it wouldn't be that bad!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Zander playfully rolled his eyes. "Hey? Wanna come round my house and watch movies?? Might be a little positive thing for you after that 'horrific' science experiment," The auburn-haired suggested, tucking a strand of Zander's purple hair behind his ear. "Sure, sounds good."

Soon enough, the couple reach Luke's house. The taller scavenged through his keys before finally getting the right one and unlocking the door with a click. They both sprint upstairs, Luke collapsing onto his bed, "What movie were you thinking of watching?" Luke asks, a gleaming smile stuck on his face. "Hmm.. I was thinking my sort've movie would be watching you, taking in your gorgeous features and then falling asleep," Zander playfully explained, his hand trailing along Luke's. The younger let a tulip-coloured blush fade onto his face, his golden eyes looking down for a couple of seconds before glancing to look back at Zander, "I mean.. If you insist.." He murmurs, scooting closer to Zander so their hands are fully intertwined.

The two chuckle to themselves, staring into each-others eyes. It felt silly, but they were genuinely enjoying themselves, just stuck in their own world. The periwinkle-eyed cupped Luke's face, leaning in and delicately sealing the moment with a kiss. Luke could smell Zander's rose cologne, kissing back passionately. They soon pulled away, lying down in silence. Zander placed his hand on Luke's chest, Luke's going on top of it, using his thumb to gently rub the palm of Zander's pale, cold hand. The ombré-haired rested his head into Luke's neck, their bodies soon falling into a soothing cuddle.

Hours upon hours passed by, the couple still relaxed, in one another's warmth. The moon reflected over them from the window, an aura appearing along their faces. Luke was out cold in a slumber, his hand rested on Zander's waist. Zander was still awake, his fingers fidgeting with the loose fabric of Luke's maroon hoodie. He smiled upon the sight of Luke sleeping so peacefully, staring at his features. He sat up for a couple of seconds, his hand caressing the side of Luke's face before his lips brushed against Luke's, their lips parting with a low click. "I love you Luke, goodnight," Zander whispered, pecking his partner's forehead before lying down beside him once more, caved in utter silence and the atmosphere called love.
