Keiji Akaashi

Akaashi always had a habit of over working himself. It was 12am and He still hadn't come to bed.

When the time soon read 12:50am I got annoyed and got up going downstairs and into his office. He was sat at his desk with his lamp on.

I walked over and gently placed my hands on his shoulders giving them a gentle squeeze.

"Hey love.." he sighed

"Are you aware its almost 1am?" I asked softly?

He tapped his phone checking the time and he sighed.

"Sorry sweetheart im almost done" he says

"you said that 4 hours ago..."

"I know alright. But its a lot of work that needs to be done by tomorrow and im packed so please just go to bed and I will come up when Im done" he snapped

I was taken back by his out burst, Akaashi never spoke to me this way.

I didn't say anything and just walked away. I the just laid in bed awake, I wasnt sure how long j was laying there hut I heard the sound of the door opening and then closing and Footsteps then went into the bathroom.

When Akaashi came back he climbed into bed and sighed.

"Are you awake?" he asked softly.

I didnt answer and just shut my eyes. I felt him shift and pull me closer to him as he then placed a kiss on my shoulder.

"Im sorry for snapping, I love you" he whispered

he then cuddled up and his his face in my shoulder/neck while holding my hand...

When I woke up the next morning I turned over to see that he wasn't in bed. I checked the time and it was 7am.

I got myself ready for work and when I came downstairs I found Akaashi on the sofa watching the morning news.

"y/n!" He called.

"mhm?"

He got up and walked over to where I was in the kitchen.

"Im not sure if you heard me last night, but Im sorry for snapping at you last night, You didn't do anything wrong and you didn't deserve that" he says.

"I heard you...Thank you for apologising" I say.

"Can you promise me something though?" I asked

"what?"

"Can you take better care of yourself for me Keiji? you have heavy eye bags and you're not taking proper care" I explained.

"Im sorry Ill do better" he says.

I leaned up and gave him a gentle kiss and hugged him. He hugged me back and sighed

"Once you submit that set of work tell your boss that you need time off, Even if its just a day of two please and use that to get plenty of sleep and a nice soak in the bath to help relax" I say

He nods and smiled softly.

"What would I do without you?"

"Work yourself into utter exhaustion and make yourself ill because of that. I love that you are passionate about your career sweetie, but when it starts to effect your mental and physical health then thats when I become worried" I sighed

"I have a few hours before I have to leave" he says

"Okay, go get yourself some more sleep, and the. before you leave get a shower and shave. That stubble does not look good on you" I teased

"Yes ma'am"

I gave him another kiss and an I love you before he went back upstairs to get more sleep.
