Haikyuu One shots

Takahiro Hanamaki

(A/n: Hanamaki is your uncle and its in 3rd person because you're 4 years old)

Everyone knew that Hanamaki was a middle child. He had an older sister and younger sister. But what the team didnt know was that Hanamaki was also an uncle.

Your mom had an emergancy at work and your dad...well he wasn't much use to begin with. Your mom couldn't ask your grandparents because they were on holiday, and your auntie wasn't exactly old enough to watch you for the day. So you were left with your good old Uncle Takahiro.

"Minako you cant be serious I have practice today!" Hanamaki says

You stood next to your mom who was trying to reason with your uncle.

"Take her with you, im sure your coach wont mind and i promise i will give money to cover the next set of sports gear you need for volleyball as a thank you" Your mom says.

"Fine. And I want your home made cheesecake too" he says.

"Deal. Alright darling be good for Uncle Takahiro okay" your mom says

"okay mommy" You smiled innocently.

As soon as she left You looked at your uncle who had his bag on.

"Alright y/n, You're gonna come see my friends, if you're good ill take you for ramen. Sound good?" Maki asked

You nodded and held his hand the whole walk there. When you both entered the gym Oikawa was the first to notice the small toddler with Maki.

"Maki i knew you had a little sister but i didn't think she was that young" Oikawa says

"Oh no, this is my niece" Maki says setting you down on a bench.

You saw Matukawa and smiled getting up and running over.

"Matsu! Matsu!"

Matsukawa turned around and smiled when he saw you, quickly dropping the ball and lifting you up.

"Maki you have a niece!?" Oikawa was shocked.

"yeah, guess You're not the only uncle here" Maki says

Matsun took you back to your uncle and Smiled

"Minako busy or something?" He asked

"Yeah work emergency, So gotta try and keep her occupied during practice" Makin says.

"We can take turns taking care of her, 10 minutes each" Oikawa suggested.

You weren't a bad kid. Not in the slightest your mom and Grandma taught you to always be well behaved. But you did have a lot of energy given that you were 4 years old so it was only natural that you had the whole team on their toes.

Thankfully the coach was able to find a way to keep you occupied, giving you little jobs to do.

However at one point nobody was really paying attention to you and that was when Hanamaki heard a high pitched scream come from behind. He turned around and saw you on the floor crying and holding your head with a volleyball close by.

"Oh my god!"

Maki was quick to get across to you, scooping you into his arms as he checked your head. a large egged bruise was forming.

"Im so sorry!"

Iwaizumi rushed over, He was the one who had spiked the ball and hit you.

no matter what maki did you would not calm down, Iwa tried to calm you too but still nothing.

Oikawa walked over and offered to try. Maki passed you over and he started to gently hush you, keeping his hand over the part of your head that was hurt.

"Hey now its okay I know it hurts a lot, Iwa chan is a big meanie huh?" Oikawa hushed.

You nodded as he pressed a little kiss on your sore head and then sat down on a bench.

"There now, Lets get this boo boo all sorted out yeah?" He says

you nodded again as the coach pressed an ice pack on your head. Oikawa had you cuddled up and calmed in no time and the egg shaped bruise on your head slowly started to go down.

"Damn oikawa you're a natural" Matsun says

Maki crouched down and checked your head, he knew that either way if the bruise remained or not your mom was going to kill him.

"Uncle Taka..."

You leaned forward and he took you in his arms.

"I wanna go home..." you mumbled

"I know sweetie, Lets head home"

Maki gathered both of your things and decided to get the bus home, but not before making a quick stop at the walk in, just to check Iwaizumi didn't concuss you. To which by some miracle didn't happen.

When your mom got back from work and saw your head she at first saw red, but after hearing what happened she wasnt as annoyed and let Maki off with just a clip across the head.

It would be safe to assume that You wont be left alone with Uncle Takahiro for a while...
