"Okay but seriously you gotta tell us who you are dating on the volleyball team!?"

My friends have been dying to know who my new boyfriend is. when Iwaizumi and I started dating we wanted to keep it low profile for the first few months while we got comfortable and understand each other better.

"Not yet..." I say

"Okay im starting to think that you're not really dating anyone on the team now"  Emiko says

"Tomorrow you girls can meet him at practice" I say.

"We better" Emiko says walking away to go home

"ignore her y/n she's still annoyed that Iwaizumi broke up her even though its been 6 months" Mina says

When I got to the Gym the guys were setting up for practice.

"Iwa your Girls here!" Matsun called

I walked over to where iwa was stretching.

"Hey Babe"

"Hey uh so I was wondering if it was okay for me to tell Mina and Emiko about us?" i asked

"You dont need to ask me y/n, if you wanna tell your friends then go ahead,"

Iwaizumi stood up and turned to me.

"Are you sure? Emiko is your ex..." I say

"So? I broke up with her because I caught her cheating on me I dont care about her in the slightest bit, and you shouldn't care what she thinks of me dating you okay?" he says

"Alright..."

"Are you staying for practice?" he asked

"I have to get home and watch Lily for mom and dad" i say

Iwa nods before placing his hand on the back of my head and pulling me in for a gentle forehead kiss.

He wasn't big for PDA in front of people he knew, especially the team, But when alone he was the sweetest Gentleman in the world and loved a cuddle. His favourite thing to do is have his face snuggled into my neck while laying on me.

"Text me when you get home okay so I know you're safe" he says

"I will don't worry" I say

"Ill worry even if you want me to or not, you're tiny" he says with a smirk.

"Leave my height out of this. Ill see you tomorrow"  I say.

The next day at school Emiko and Mina came over to me.

"Come on then let's see this 'boyfriend' of yours" Emiko says.

We walked over to the gym and watched their practice over on the benches where I usually watched

"Okay so which ones the lucky guy?" Mina asked excitedly

"Iwa! Look y/n is here!" Maki yelled

Iwa looked up and gave me a smile and a wave which I returned

"Oh my god you're dating Iwaizumi!" Mina asked

"Uh yeah..." I say

"Are you fucking serious y/n. He's my ex What the hell happened to Girl code!" Emiko asked

"Nah you lost our respect on Girl code 6 months ago. we only talk to you because you have nobody else to hang witht because they all turned on you" Mina says

Emiko didnt like that and started throwing every insult under the sun at me and how i'm such a bad friend. I just ignored her and walked away until she brought up something that crossed the line.

"You should have succeeded last year y/n! It would be so much better if you weren't here!"

The gym fell silent.

"Too far Emiko..." Mina says

Iwa rushed over to me and hugged me. I didn't move as I just felt numb remembering that day when I tried to kill myself... He knew that I had attempted but didn't know how.

"Y/n...Baby don't start shutting everyone out" Iwa spoke softly.

I looked at him with teary eyes his expression was soft but worrying, Keeping his arm around me he took me over to the storage room where it was quiet and shut the door slightly.

"I...I didn't think she would stoop that low...she knows how bad that night was for everyone..." I muttered

"I know She was so wrong for that" he says

"I...I tried to hang myself...She knows how bad my depression was...that im in therapy for it..." I stated

"You don't have to Justify anything
y/n its alright, You're in therapy and you're doing fantastic now, You are such a strong person y/n, and I love you so much" Iwa says.

I hugged him and he gave me a slight squeeze.

"Its not my place to tell yoy who you can and cant be friends with but you need to drop her, True friends would never say let alone think anything like that to, Ever" he says

"I know..." I mumbled.

"You deserve better than that" he says

I nodded and looked at him. He smiled at my softly before giving me a loving kiss, With him I knew that everything would be okay...
