Kuroo Tetsuro

"What do you mean split up..." I asked.

My voice was shaken as Kuroo and I stood in the hallway at school.

"I just don't think it's working y/n, we both have different expectations for at high school and I just think we should split up before things get messy." Kuroo explained

"J-just because I'm not going to university..."

"I'll be moving out of town y/n, we'll never see each other it's no use us sticking together." He says

"So what about these last 2 years have they just meant nothing to you?" I asked

"Of corse they did y/n, and this is killing me to do this—"

"So why are you! You know what just forget it."

I stormed off leaving him stood in the hallway. I hated him for hurting me. I went into the bathroom and locked the stall door to cry. It wasn't ideal but I didn't know where else to go to.

I wasn't sure how long I had been in there but I got a fright at the sound of a bang and then the fire alarm went off. In shock I didn't move for a few moments, I pulled myself together enough to head for the door. Only when I opened it I could see the fire which was blocking my way out of the building.

Quickly shutting the door I looked around to see if I could get out any other way. I was the only one in the toilets so I only had to focus on myself.

I grabbed a bunch of the paper towels and soaked them before trying to shove them under the door to avoid smoke filling in.

I heard my phone buzz so I quickly went to grab it and It was Kenma.

"Kenma!"
"Y/n where are you?" He asked
"I'm locked in the girls toilet...there's smoke everywhere..."

It was hard to hear through the line but I heard him say Kuroos name and then a bunch of rattling:

"Y/n Where are you!" Kuroo asked
"in the toilets...the fire blocked my exit...I'm trapped kuroo!" I coughed
"Stay there!"

I couldn't say anything as the line got cut off. I wasn't sure where exactly he through I could go so I just went to the back of the room away from the door and sat down, covering my nose and mouth with my jumper.

It was terrifying being stuck and the room filled with dark smoke, the fire alarms were blearing and it was getting hard to breathe. I saw the door open and one of the fire fighters appeared.

"I found her!" He yelled

"Hey, gonna have you put this on, we'll get you out of here as soon as possible" he says

I nodded as he put a mask over my mouth and nose. I looked out the door and the fire was worse than before. The guy kept a hold of me with his arm around my shoulders as he escorted me out.

When we got out the front of the school everyone was looking at me and gasping.

They took me over to an ambulance and put an oxygen mask over before starting to tend to the others who had been affected by the fire too.

"you're lucky you didn't inhale too much smoke" the paramedic says

I nodded and closed my eyes, my heart was racing still.

"Y/n!"

I turned my head and Kuroo came running over. He jumped over to Ambulance and hugged me tight.

"I'm so sorry...god I'm so sorry..." he muttered

"Why are you sorry?" I asked

"You wouldn't be in there if I hadn't of dumped you...I'm so sorry" he says.

"Kuroo it's okay..."

"It's not okay, I'm such an idiot...what was I thinking of letting someone as amazing as you go?"

I pulled the mask off and looked at him.

"Will you shut up and just come here"

I pulled him down and kissed him gently.

"I said it's okay, I'm here and well so let's move on okay?"

Kuroo nodded before putting the mask back on me.

"Just relax I'm not going anywhere" he whispered pressing a kiss on my forehead.
