I worked as a personal Physio Therapist for the Japan Men and Women Volleyball team. Because of that it meant I was also invited to attend the Banquet for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics closing.
As I walked into the hall I saw the team all at a large table with drinks. As I made my way over the Coach noticed me.
"Y/n you look stunning tonight! Have a drink just popped open a bottle of Champagne!" He says
"I dont drink remember, Alcohol allergy" I sighed
"Damn thats a shame," Coach says.
Oikawa came up behind me at the bar and sighed "Since when do you have an alcohol allergy" he asked
"I don't. But if i drink ill say something to you that will most likely get me fired"
"What can I get ya love?" the bar tender asked
"Ill have a Mocktail Margarita" I say
He nods and went to make my drink.
"y/n you cant deny that there isn't something between us still." Oikawa says.
"What are you implying Oikawa?" I asked
"that i'm still in love with you." he says his hand resting on my hip.
"In your dreams." I say taking my drink, and walking away.
Throughout the evening Oikawa kept his eye on me, whenever I spoke to any of the guys on the team he would glare and Expecially if I spoke to Iwa.
"y/n I left my speech up in my room do you mind going up and getting it since you're pretty speedy even in heels?" Kuroo asked
"Yeah sure" I smiled
I took his room cad and headed to the elevator. Just as the doors were about to shut Oikawa rushed in.
"what are you doing?" I asked
"I left my wallet in my room" he says
"Its an open bar-"
"Gonna grab a pizza after" he says.
It was silent on the way up. When I went i to Kuroos room I found the envelope labelled "speech" I grabbed it and when i came out Oikawa was waiting for me.
We were half way down in the elevator when suddenly it stopped moving.
"What-"
I pressed the button for the ground floor and it wouldnt work.
"Looks like were stuck" Oikawa says
"No shit sherlock."
I tried pressing any other button by still nothing.
