Shadow picked the teen up bridal style and saw that Sonic was trying to fight his sleep as he opened and closed his eyes, whining
Shadow: Go to sleep for now little detective
When Shadow walked back into the restaurant he saw Silver speaking to Rouge at the bar who was holding a pile of files that she was asking Silver to look into
Silver: Why me?
Rouge: Because so far all our interrogations said the big boss used to be in a gang himself before making the one in Station Square and you are the only one who can identify him if he was in the same one you use to be in
Silver: you mean the one were you and Shadow...what did you do! is he hurt!
Shadow: he's fine he just fell asleep on me. do you have anywhere to lay him down for a while?
Silver: no I don't and I would rather take him home to sleep
Sonic: I can't do that....we are so close to...finding the real boss and....
Silver rip the teen away from Shadow, holding him in the same position as the other did which annoying the black hedgehog
Silver: can't you tell. he is exhausted from all the late nights he's been doing, tsk...forget the training. I'm taking him home
Silver walk over to the door with shadow stopping him by pulling his arm out to block his path
Silver: don't tell me you are going to force him to train more
Shadow: you need to look at these for me and Rouge as soon as possible and tell me if you know any of these mobians
Silver: I will do it when I get back
Shadow: I'll take him home while you do that and call me as soon as you know any of them on those files
shadow didn't wait for Silver to answer as he took Sonic from Silver's arms and stormed off to his car to take the teen to his apartment
later Shadow stop his car Infront of Sonic apartment and went to his bag to find the apartment key first before taking him out of the car and took him upstairs to the only bedroom he could find in there.
'this place looks so empty for it to really be a home and if this is the only bedroom in here then dose that mean the kid has been living alone?'

a couple of hours later:
the teen stir from his sleep, opening his eyes with him being confused as to why he was seeing his bedroom, sitting up to see Shadow was sitting at the bottom of his bed looking back at him
Shadow: did you have a nice nap
Sonic: shadow?......did you bring me back here and what time is it?
the teen saw his phone beside him and check to see that it was nearly 8pm, getting up quickly as he needed to get things ready before going over to Fleetway house with Shadow stopping him
