Sonic went back to the restaurant with the two agents deciding to follow him back and ask what was happening when they all got inside the restaurant.
Silver shooed the three to the office he had and let them talk while he was busy serving customers, with Sonic then explaining what happened before he left the house.
Shadow: So this jackal is called Infinite and he was the one wearing a mask. It would seam's he would most likely be the one we are after
Rouge: But why did you leave and then walk back into the house?
Sonic: I left the book on the coffee table on purpose when they told us to go, so we could hear what they were talking about on the recording but I couldn't wait long just in case they found the camera in the book and got it back
Shadow: Good work Sonic. rouge, can you put this though Silver computer for a minute and will see what they were talking about
Sonic:...dose this mean your mission will end soon when you find Infinite
Shadow heard by the teens voice that he sounded disappointed and then told Rouge that he will be back in a minute before telling Sonic to come with him to the back yard. the two was standing in the same spot earlier before the teen passed out and notice the cans where still in the same place where they were left.
Sonic pick up the can that was on the floor and remembered the same can that he shot first before looking back to Shadow with a fake smile on his face
Sonic: I guess I will have to learn how to shot myself after you finish your mission
Shadow:.....we....still have time before that happens, it's not like we have the evidence to arrest him yet
Sonic: I know, it's just that....I feel happy when I'm around you and in a way, I also feel safe too. it's sound stupid but I don't want want you to leave me
Shadow could see that Sonic was trying to laugh off as he expressed what he felt as he avoided looking at him at the same time, making shadow feel a little bit of guilt as he also felt like he was attached to the teen himself
Shadow sigh as he went up to Sonic and pulled him towards him till Sonic head was was touching his chest fur
Shadow: I might be finishing my mission here but that doesn't mean I want to forget you, so why don't you smile for me like you always do and stay in contact with me till I come we see each other again
Sonic: you mean it
Shadow: of course. admittedly, even I wouldn't mind spending a little more time with you but my job has to come first so I can be sure, that I'm leaving with you and everyone else with a safer city to live in
Sonic: I know.....I'll miss you doe
sonic wrap his arms around Shadow with the two staying in the same position for a couple more minutes till they broke away from their embrace
Shadow: before I leave when everything is over, I'll spend a little time with you and take you somewhere nice as a thank you for all your help
Sonic: I would love that
Shadow: good, will you be okay walking home
