with Sonic:
Sonic blacked out from the pain of being beaten by two mobians that he couldn't see since he was blindfolded and with his hands tied behind a chair to stop him from fighting back.
he instantly woke up when ice-cold water was thrown on him, gasping for air as he panicked and struggled through the binds before he received another punch to the face but this time it was much harder than the last one
''THIS IS WHAT YOU GET YOU LITTLE RAT!''
a male voice said before landing a hit on the teen's face and knocking him and the chair down on it's side, crushing his left arm against the concrete ground
''OH, that was a good one. let's try kicking him till he blacks out again''
Sonic braised himself for more pain and received strong kicks in the gut, knocking all the air he had in his lungs while trying to hold back the tears that was hiding behind the blind fold.
the next thing the teen heard was a door swinging open, hitting the wall with the voice of Infinite roaring as he shouted at the two.
Infinite: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, I TOLD YOU TO TAKE CARE OF HIM!
''but we are boss''
Infinite: IDIOTS, NOT THAT KIND OF CARE!
''...but isn't he the one that''
Infinite: GET OUT OF MY SIGHT NOW BEFORE I KILL THE BOTH OF YOU!
sonic could hear the foot steps of the two leaving with another that he could only assume was Infinite stepping towards him as he then felt the chair lift back on it's four legs and pulling the blind fold off, revealing Infinite but with no mask on with a concerned expression
Infinite: those fucking brutes, they gave you quite a beating. I will have to be a bit more pacific next time when leaving you with someone
he said as he placed his hand over the teens swollen cheek with him flinching away from the sudden touch, not exactly happy to have the jackal try to comfort him
Sonic: why so caring when I know you are going to kill me the same way as the other students
Infinite got the teen to look at him by lifting his chin, getting more of a better look at all the damage he took from the beating
Infinite: it looks like it will take a couple of days for all your injuries to disappear and you can stop thinking that I'm going to kill you...I can't have you die when you are now officially in my care
Sonic: I won't be for long when I get out of here
Infinite: even if you try you will have to come back by law. you better have a look at this if you don't believe me
he pulled out a document out of his back pocket and held it up to the teen to read what was on it, annoyed as it said that he was now officially adopted by someone called zero
Sonic: this must be fake. how can anyone adopt someone if they never even met them
Infinite: I did last night and since already know you were an orphan when Scrouge always spoke about a blue hedgehog he like, I decided to have you taken into my care the moment I saw you
