You yawned and got up from bed which you don't remember getting in. You were confused but didn't think much of it.

And you realized you weren't in your own bed. You live with Aki. You slowly started to remember the moments you spent with him yesterday.

The smell of something good woke you up completely as you walked into the kitchen.

"...Morning," You mumbled out, sneaking behind Aki.

"Morning," Aki replied, not flinching.

It's been years since someone actually answered you. You've been alone for quite a long time and it made you happy.

"What's for breakfast?" You asked.

"French toast," Aki answered as he flipped the bread perfectly on a pan.

You hummed in reply as you looked around the house. You were still not used to it and felt really weird.

A few minutes later, Aki finished making breakfast and they started eating.

"I'm going out today, so stay inside the house," Aki broke the silence.

"Where you going?" You asked, looking up and staring at Aki.

"...To buy stuff," Aki mumbled.

"Food?" You wanted to know.

"Yes-"

"Can I come?" You cut him off.

Aki sighed. "No, it's a pain in the ass."

"..." (Y/n) stared at Aki willingly for a few seconds until Aki broke eye contact.

"Fine, but only this time, okay?" Aki closed his eyes in annoyance.

"Thanks, Aki," You said, smiling.

They got ready and they went out. It was a  cloudy day, with the sun barely out from behind the clouds.

You walked in weird places, like on top of the fence and walls. Aki told you not to fall down and die.

"I'm not that weak," You protested but Aki left you in the dust. "HEY~!"

They arrived at the supermarket soon after and you immediately went to the sweets and snacks corner, receiving a heavy sigh from Aki.

"I don't want you to get lost, stay near," Aki called out as he picked up needed products.

"Can you get me this?"

"No."

"This?"

"No."

"What about this?"

"No."

"WHY!!!" You shouted, defeating. 

"Just choose one, you don't have to get EVERYTHING," Aki said as he pushed the cart off to who knows where.

You chose Pocky chocolate sticks and calmed down.

Aki paid for everything and they started to walk back home until you found a DVD rental shop.

"I wanna go there," You said as you pointed to the shop.

Aki glanced at the shop. "No."

"Please? Let's watch a movie together, I'm bored," You say as you grab Aki's arm.

"I said-" But you were already dragging Aki into the shop. The strength she has...

'It won't be bad right? I just need to keep an eye on her...' Aki thought as he was being dragged.

They entered the shop. You looked through the DVDs and chose a sad and a horror one.

As you checked it out, they went outside, ready to go home for real.

"I'm gonna watch this all today," You declared to Aki.

"Okay, do whatever you want, I don't care," Aki replied.

"...me," You mumbled.

"Huh?"

"Give me one of the shopping bags, I'll carry one," You said quickly.

"Oh, thanks," Aki said as he handed one bag.

That was the moment, just this single moment had ensured something in themselves.

'I want to be with him/her.'

You were getting along with a Devil Hunter.

Aki was gaining trust from you.

Everything was going the way they wanted to.

They arrived home and you immediately put the DVD in its player and started watching the sad one. Aki went to his room.

After a few hours, you were flooded with tears.

"Why did he have to leave them...Why is this so depressing...Oh my f*cking god," You mumbled as Aki came into the room.

"What the f*ck," Aki said as he saw the state you were in.

"Aki!! You should watch this too," You said half crying.

Aki stared at you and back at the screen which was rolling with the end credits.

"Yeah," Aki said sloppily, thinking that you should shut up if he simply agreed.

"You see, this couple was living in the mountains and..."

You talked to Aki, not caring whether he was listening to you or not. 

"...he literally destroyed the whole world just for his friends so that they could live freely. Aki, this was a good movie, just watch it!!"

You turned your head over to him, and he was cleaning the table calmly.

"I'll watch it someday," Aki said, not facing you.

"...Ok, I'll watch the next one," And you pulled out the DVD, still recovering from the sad movie.

A few minutes into the scary one, you weren't scared just a bit.

Aki happened to come by just to peek at the TV screen. You noticed his presence and looked up.

"Aki, this movie isn't that-"

A sudden jump scare scared the sh*t out of you, causing you to hug Aki's legs hard.

"Sh*t, sorry. That wasn't scary at all," You were embarrassed. You quickly withdraw from the position.

Aki remained silent but a few moments later, he plopped his hand on top of your head. 

 "I'm gonna go make food," He said, but he instantly removed his hand, realizing what he was actually doing. He was not himself. He, himself, didn't even understand his own actions towards you.

This surprised you. You looked up at him, only to see his face surprised just like yours but a bit red. You smiled. "Make me a good one,"
