As James returned to the room, he couldn't help but sense a palpable tension in the air. His curiosity got the better of him, and he asked, "Did I miss something? It feels a bit awkward in here."

Remus and Sirius exchanged a quick, evasive glance before Remus replied, "Oh, you know, just some catching up, discussing old memories, that sort of thing."

Sirius chimed in, "Yeah, nothing too important, mate. Just reminiscing."

James raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced, but decided not to press the matter further. The unspoken truth lingered in the room, but for now, it seemed we were all content to let it remain unspoken.

Breaking the tension with a more lighthearted topic, James glanced at both Remus and Sirius and grinned. "Alright, lads, what do you want for breakfast from McDonald's? It's on me."

The question brought a collective sigh of relief, and we quickly began discussing our breakfast orders, grateful for the chance to shift the conversation to something more casual and delicious.

We sat around the table, savoring our McDonald's breakfasts, the taste of familiarity providing a comforting contrast to the complexity of our recent conversations. As we ate, I couldn't help but steal glances at Sirius when James wasn't looking.

Our eyes met in those unspoken moments, conveying a shared connection that went beyond words. It was a silent understanding of the feelings that had surfaced between us, all while James remained unaware of the unspoken dynamic evolving right before him.

With breakfast finished, James glanced at the TV remote, ready to choose a movie for us to watch. He asked, "Alright, what do you guys want to watch?"

Simultaneously, both Sirius and I blurted out, "The Fault In Our Stars." Our synchronized response caught James off guard, and he couldn't help but chuckle.

"You two," he said with an amused grin, "are as bad as each other. 'The Fault In Our Stars' it is, then."

As James set up the movie, I exchanged a knowing look with Sirius, and we couldn't help but share a private, amused smile. It seemed our connection extended even to our taste in movies.
