They leave when Yushiro's tick marks don't leave his brow.

Tamayo wished them luck, hoping they would find their own sanctuary. She gave them some medicine and bandages should they need them. Douma can take pain away but if he has another hunger spike, he would rather give her something for the bite.

Inosuke was strapped onto Kotoha's back and Douma was left with carrying their supplies. A change of clothes, spare blanket, medicine, food, water jug, and money.

As Inosuke slept, they made their way out of Tokyo and back to the countryside. Douma sniffed the air near dusk, trying to see if any recent deaths by demons had occurred in the area.

From the smell, one had actually been slayed by a slayer. His nose also picked up the scent of wisteria. His nose crunched, lip curling and he gags. Before he would never have this reaction but he hadn't smelt it in a century so it was basically new and repulsive.

Either way, they should be fine. The slayer would have left and their little medical units would have taken care of the wounded. The only demons he would need to deal with tonight are any looking for new territory.

Dusk ends and the night is young. Douma had gathered the firewood, leaving Kotoha to nurse Inosuke. He does kill a rabbit for her, skinning it and coming back.

The start of the peaceful evening ends with a smack.

Douma had just made it to the edge of the clearing where they were setting up camp when his jaw was punched off. He falls to his knees, Kotoha yelping at the scene, watching as Douma is attacked by a pink-haired demon.

Akaza drags Douma up by his collar and Douma starts to grin as his jawline reforms.

"Akaza-dono~!" His eyes go next and he can still hear Kotoha scream.

"YOU ASSHOLE! YOU DENIED MY BLOOD BATTLE!!" Douma blinks as his eyes reform and Akaza punches him in his gut before kicking him into a tree. The trunk breaks and he coughs as his ribs break.

Akaza pops his knuckles and stops as Douma tilts his head, eyes questioning his statement.

"I denied a blood battle? Akaza-dono had I known I would have gone immediately but-" His chest was punched through this time and he twirls his hand to summon ice clones to turn Kotoha away from the scene.

Akaza was getting more furious by the second.

"IT'S BEEN NINETY YEARS AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN YOUR FACE SINCE OUR FIRST BATTLE!" Akaza kicks him to the ground, stomping his foot on his throat.

"STOP THIS!" Kotoha finally cries out. "YOU WIN!"

Akaza throws a glare at Kotoha and snarls at her. "STAY OUT OF THIS! THE BATTLE ISN'T WON TILL HE DIES!"

Douma cuts Akaza's foot off and is grabbing his throat the next second. Frost leaves his mouth as he starts to freeze Akaza over. Seeking to chill him out.

"Akaza, you don't yell at Kotoha-chan in my presence. Especially when Inosuke was about to go to bed."

That only served to piss him off more and he finally roars with Douma's clones covering Inosuke and Kotoha's ears. Though the ice was starting to crack.

"THIS IS CHEATING YOU BASTARD!" That harsh gaze catches his crown and a snarl grows on his freezing form. "TAKE THIS FUCKING THING OFF!!"

Colorful eyes widen as claws dig under his crown and a glow goes off, blinding the demons.

Douma has to blink a bit and he is letting Akaza go. The demon shakes any of the ice still on him, recovering by blinking also, confused as to what had happened.

A ring of small golden beads with a crescent moon spade pendant was on Akaza's neck. The demon's fingers find it and he scowls at it.

"What the hell is this? DOUMA IS THIS YOUR DOING!!?" His claws start to dig under it and just like Douma, it begins to tighten and bring pain to the one who wears it.

"WHAT THE-!"

Muzan would freeze in his research, his pen coming to rest on his notepad.

Another one of his uppermoons has been disconnected from him.

Douma watches almost amused as Akaza begins to roll around, slamming into trees and clawing his throat to get it off.

He had made it to Kotoha's side, even sitting down knowing that Akaza wouldn't be able to do anything now.

Though-

His eyes find Inosuke who is nodding off but he needs to know.

"Kotoha-chan?" Her gaze finds him as they hear Akaza crash into another tree.

"Can I see Inosuke really quick?" He is handed the baby and he is able to rouse him just for a bit longer.

"Daaa... "Inosuke yawns and Douma rocks him for a moment.

"Yes, Inosuke, Daaaa is here." He couldn't say the full title without potentially activating Inosuke into saying it.

"Who's that?!" Douma points his claw to where Akaza is crashing into even more trees, his new necklace glowing constantly.

Inosuke thought the glowing was fascinating and followed it with his eyes.
Douma grins and Kotoha can only become more concerned as Douma starts to think. A mischievous grin came to his face.

"Come on Inosuke...Doesn't he remind you of anything?" Inosuke tilts his head and Kotoha finally comes in.

"Inosuke, can you say...?" Kotoha thinks for a moment, Akaza constantly throwing himself into the trees till he lands near them.

"SHIT!!" His roar of frustration echoes through the forest scaring off some wildlife.

.
..
...
Douma begins to bite his lip, holding back his smile, waiting for the punch line as he looks down at Inosuke and gets his spark of inspiration. Kotoha wasn't as thrilled, sighing.

Inosuke, however, gladly spoke his new favorite word he just learned.

"Shit!" The baby throws his hands up and Akaza looks over, a vein popping and all he sees is Douma crunching his fingers in a gesture.

Then his face hits the ground, creating a crater, and knocking him out.

Douma finally cackles his heart out, giving Inosuke back as he goes to Akaza.

"Akaza-dono, you should have known better."

Now fully awake, Inosuke is slapping his mother's forearms, giggling at seeing one of his favorite people in front of him.

"DADA!" Douma's crown activates and his face too meets the ground. His body goes limp as he too is knocked out.

Kotoha sighs, setting Inosuke on top of Douma, and goes to start a fire near the two prone bodies. She would wrap a blanket around the three of them, snuggling into Douma's side as sleep claims her.
