"Why should I trust you?" Kyojuro's stance is steady when he raises his sword.

Rainbow eyes narrow at him, before tapping his claw to his crown. The light catches it's the gold crown as Douma's resolve comes to a boiling point.

"I put my trust in Buddha, for he has blessed me to walk around in the light. To give Kotoha and Inosuke a chance to live a full life. If I had the chance to keep them away from Muzan Kibutsuji then I will." Akaza is swiftly turning to Douma and Kyojuro is stiff. Kotoha doesn't know what to expect but Douma's gaze remains on the slayer. For a few minutes, nothing happens and only the sharp sound of a sword entering its sheath cuts the tension.

"I will trust you demon."

"Oh, Uppermoon Two said his name? I must meet him soon, for only one full of courage would do such a thing." Kagaya hums once the crow flies off.

Must be a demon who was worthy to help them defeat Muzan once and for all.

"Douma!!!" Kyojuro is baffled when watching as the demon is chased down by Akaza. He sat, slowly chewing his cooked fish that had been caught by Uppermoon Two. Kotoha was also eating her own, offering Inosuke a piece or two. The baby would gnaw on it only to focus more on the demons.

Douma had thrown a freshly caught fish at Akaza, smacking him in the face.

Kotoha sighs when they start destroying the beautiful landscape before them. The young mother points at the two and Kyojuro witnesses the power the young baby held.

"Who are they Inosuke?"

The child is thinking for a moment before laughing as the two slide to a stop close to them. The giggle of Inosuke makes the two demons look up, Akaza's hand pressing Douma's face into the ground.

"SHIT!" Akaza's necklace glows and he is soon slammed into the ground unconscious. Douma sits up to cackle, holding his ribs only to hear a 'dada!'

Kotoha gives a small laugh when Douma does go down, the area around him splitting and knocking him out.

Half-eaten food threatens to leave Kyojuro's mouth upon watching two Uppermoons, demons that no slayer had been able to kill in over a century. The Flame Hashira looks to the baby as he claps his hands, giggling.

"How?!" Kyojuro asks and Kotoha sets Inosuke down, allowing him to crawl onto his favorite spot on Douma's back.

Kotoha smiles when Inosuke starts pulling on Douma's long hair.

"My son has been given a power by Buddha. Douma had told me he had done wrong when he traveled to a distant land. Then he had been bound to learn a lesson. He hadn't tasted blood for over a century." Kyojuro shouldn't believe it. But the facts were in front of him.

"They are still demons," Kyojuro states, and Kotoha sadly nods. It's been about two weeks since they left Tamayo's and Douma hadn't mentioned his hunger again. However, she believes it's because the bite wound was still healing.

"Hmmm, WELL, I know my master would like to meet him!" The Flame Hashira declared before biting into his meal once more.

"UMAI!"

Sha Wujing waits patiently for his ward. His soul was odd but his spirit was strong nonetheless. He had gladly accepted to teach the young warrior of just under two hundred years his wisdom.

When he does arrive, the young warrior is kneeling before sitting back on his haunches. Sandy takes a seat and waits for him to speak.

When he looks up blue eyes are staring up at him.

"Shifu, how would you have me channel myself to be better?" Sandy has been asked this question many times, and each time his ward gets knocked out by the human baby. He was a different person here compared to when he was wake.

His name was Hakuji here.

When he was awake he was Akaza.

It makes Sandy wonder how much of his lessons translate over but he doesn't mind teaching repetition.

Akaza wakes early to the still crackling fire.

Nearby Douma had shifted in his sleep, curling around Kotoha and in her arms, Inosuke snuggles into his mother's embrace.

The sun is about to peak and he watches as Kyojuro pokes the fire.

For some reason, it reminds him of something.

To channel something so powerful into something useful.

When it came to walking into town, the demons changed their appearance. Douma only needs to hide the red of his head. Akaza however was different from his pale skin, changing to hide his tattoos and going with pale skin.

Kyojuro would have almost mistaken him for someone normal if it weren't for the gold they were forced to wear.

Douma could laugh his off with his robes making him look like a monk. Akaza was not nearly as fortunate.

The town they were going through wasn't a town to worry about when it came to robbery. Though Kyojuro would be more concerned for the robber than the demons.

At one point in the short time he was with the demons, he would watch as Inosuke tugged on the gold crown of Douma when he was carried by him. The crown would barely budge.

It was unlikely with what he had seen of the gold artifacts that activate with the child that they could be removed so easily.

He does wonder if a slayer does get a chase to slash their heads off what would happen to them. Would they stay as a trophy or would they simply attach themselves to the next person?

To also teach them a lesson.

Whatever the case, if they are one step closer to taking down Muzan, he'll accept any situation.

FOR HE WAS THE FLAME HASHIRA! HE'LL SET HIS HEART ABLAZE !!

His master was tense.

His order was straight forward.

"Kokushibo, kill Akaza, bring Douma and his harlot and the bastard back."

With his head bow he spoke.

"As you wish Muzan-sama."
