We entered the crystal shop and I looked around. I saw a bunch of pretty rocks with crystals inside them called Geodes and also the many bowls filled with smooth colored crystals. The one that caught my eye the most was called citrine. It was a yellow color that was also see-through. It had many different shades, shapes and sizes. I picked that and then another called rainbow obsidian. It was black with a rainbow hue that would shift in the light. I also grabbed a necklace that could hold them.

I looked around the walls and saw big tapestries with many designs. My favorite one looked like a cart and it had the words the fool on it. It was black and white, with hints of yellow. It had a grim reaper on it who looked lost as he sat on the rock in the forest. There was a small card beneath it explaining the meaning. It read:

The fool resembles a sense of new beginnings. It could often be associated with being inexperienced but willing to learn. If this card is drawn on you, it typically means it's telling you to trust in what the universe has in store for you.

I smiled at the definition and looked at Sero. "Can we get this for our room?" I asked. He chuckled and nodded. We grabbed one of the packaged ones on the shelves beneath it, making sure it was the fool, before going to the desk and checking out.

We walked out with the bag and Mina dragged us to the next store she saw on the way here.

"I go here all the time for my clothes. Thats where I got this skirt!" She said, showing he black pleated skirt that flowed as she twirled, reaching to her upper thigh. "It's super comfortable and lasts forever!" She said. She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the skirts. "Your style kinda gives me like grungy hippy vibes. This skirt would look super good on you. Oh! And this! What size are you?" She asked. "I don't know. I've lost weight since I've last checked," I said with a shrug. "Let's try my size and go from there, although I truly think you're skinnier than me," she said as she handed me the skirts she thought would look good on me. We were led to a dressing room and Sero was allowed in to help me put them on.

The first one was a dark brown skirt in the same style as the one she was currently wearing. When we put it on, it was too big and I sighed sadly. "I wish I could just gain my weight back," I muttered. "Hey, it's okay! We can get a smaller size!" Sero reassured. He told Mina through the door as he handed her all the skirts and told her to go down two sizes. She came back quickly with the new skirt and Sero had me put on the brown one again. As he zipped up the back, it hugged my waist and showed off curves I didn't even realize I had. I looked in the mirror with wide eyes. I twirled and looked at the back, side and every angle I could. I looked at Sero with tears in my eyes. "You like it?" He asked. I nodded frantically. "I- wow. I really like it.." I muttered in disbelief. I couldn't peel my eyes off of my reflection. This felt so, unbelievably, amazing. I walked out and showed everyone else. They complimented me as Mina squealed. "How do you feel, bro?" Kiri asked with a toothy grin. "More like myself than I have in freaking forever," I said with a smile. "What do you mean by that?" Denki asked. "I don't know, like I'm more happy with how I look. I feel more comfortable like this," I said with a shrug. Mina shoved me back in the changing room and demanded I tried on more.

My favorite was the pleated skirt, but I also liked the longer square cut one. It felt like really comfortable pajama pants but looked really nice on me. I handed the changing room lady the ones I didn't like or that didn't fit right and went back to the area with the skirts, picking out more colors of the pleated one. We also got a few t-shirts. Mina found a green and orange croptop and told me I HAD to get it because it matched my hero costume. We checked out and left to the store Denki wanted us to go to.

It was a small shoe outlet, but the shoes looked really nice. My eyes were immediately drawn to the nike section. I saw Air Forced that had different shades of brown for each little section. "Can I try these on?" I asked them. They all nodded eagerly and I smiled. I took off my converse and looked at the size before picking the matching one. When I put them on, they felt a little big, so I tried on the size under and they fit perfectly. "How do they look?" I asked. "You look sick!" Denki said with a smile. I nodded and took them off and put them back in the box and held onto them. I looked around the store and saw really cool combat boots that looked like the ones from my uniform, except less tactile. I tried those on and they felt really nice. "I can't decide which one I like more," I said with a frown. "Just get both dude!!" Sero said as he shoved my shoulder. I smiled and nodded. "Okay!" I walked up to the cashier and we checked them out. "The hair salon isn't really walking distance, could you drive us Mina?" Kiri asked as we exited the store. She nodded and we piled into the store.

When we arrived, I was immediately sat in a chair. "What are we thinking?" The stylist asked as she looked at me through the mirror. "I don't know about the cut yet, but I was thinking black," I explained. She nodded. "Well, let's look through some catalogs to see if you find anything," she said as she handed me a few magazines. I looked through them until I saw this one style with hair at the top and the bottom half is shaved. His had cool swirly designs shaved into it and I really liked them.

"This one," I said, pointing at the picture. She nodded and took me to the hair wash station. She certainly my hair before taking me back to the chair. She wrapped me in a tarp cape thing. And began cutting the top. "I'm adding layers to make your spikes look more fluffy," she explained as she did my hair. She parted the area that was staying long before snipping the rest really short. She, then, pulled out a razor and began shaving it.

"The designs require me to shave without the guard. It's a little scary at first, but it shouldn't hurt. Tell me if it does," she said warmly. I nodded and tilted my head in any direction she moved my head to. Once we were done, she took off my cape and ringed my hair again before blow drying it. "Now it's time for the dye," she said. She grabbed a few bottles, a bowl, and a paint brush looking thing. She mixed the bottles and put a different cape thing back on me, so I wasn't covered in my hair, and then turned me around to face her. "So it's a surprise," she said.

When she put the dye on, Mina squealed in excitement. "This is going to look so cool!" Kirishima said with a toothy grin. Denki was smiling and Sero was taking pictures. The dye felt weird, goopy, and cold, but the feeling was exhilarating. I was really changing myself. I'm really going to feel good, I can sense it.

Once she was done, she put a bag thing on my head and told me it had to set for 45 minutes. While it was setting, Sero got a FaceTime from mom.

"How's Project: Bakugo Makeover going?" She asked. "You were in on it too?" I whined. She snorted, but I couldn't see her expression because they wanted it to be a surprise when it was revealed. "It's going really good. This is the most I've seen him smile, like ever," Denki said as he leaned over Sero's shoulder. "I'm glad. What did you guys get?" She asked. "Well, we got some things from this crystal shop. He really liked the look of it. Then we got some clothes at this one store. He got a bunch of skirts, he really liked them. And he got some shoes too," Sero explained. "Aweee I wish I could have been there," she said with a giggle. "What was your favorite thing about today Kat?" She asked.

At therapy, Mahu said that every day, I should talk about my favorite part of the day so I could try to see the positives, even if it was a bad day. "My favorite part of today was when Sero did my make up. I felt really pretty when I saw myself. Same with the skirts, I felt really pretty," I said with a smile. "Awe! That's good! I'm expecting pictures! My break is almost over, so I have to go. I'll see you later tonight!" She said. We all said goodbye before she hung up. We walked around the salon and looked at the soaps that help with colored hair and keeping the fluffy look. We also saw that we could get my hair redone for cheaper since it's not the whole head the next time.

The timer rang and she began washing out my hair. At first, my hair felt crispy, but as she ran her fingers through it a few times, it started feeling smoother. "You decided on this shampoo right?" She asked. I nodded and she used it on my hair alone with the matching conditioner. Once we were done, she blow dried my hair. "Ready for the reveal?" She asked with a smirk. I nodded eagerly and she turned me around. I felt tears in my eyes as I looked at the new me in the mirror. My make up was a little messed up from the water but I didn't care.

"The black makes your eyes pop," Sero said as he rubbed my back. I stood up and hugged him tightly. "Thank you.." I whispered as I cried in his shoulder. I let go and bowed to the stylist. "Thank you so much!" I said. "Come here," she chuckled and she pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back. We pulled apart and she ruffled my hair. "Your friends said this might make you emotional," she said with a smile. "Thank you for everything you guys," I said with a smile. They all hugged me and I hugged them back.

I felt really, really happy.
