TIME SKIP TO THE DATE THE NEXT DAY

It was raining so the amusement park was practically empty.

Except for Minho and Jisung.

When Minho had asked Jisung what he wanted to do and this was the only thing he wanted despite the weather.

They were on the ferris wheel and Jisung could tell there was something off about Minho.

"Min is there anything wrong?"

"Well-" Minho couldn't make eye contact with his beloved boyfriend "I got offered a football scholarship"

"OH MY GOD MINHO THAT'S AMAZING" Jisung threw his hands around Minho's neck but when he pulled away something still seemed wrong "You still seem upset-"

"It's in America" tears began to well in Minho's eyes but he fought through it

"What" Jisung's jaw dropped and his lip began to quiver

"Ji it's ok I might not even take it, I still haven't even heard back from most of the colleges I applied for"

Jisung nodded fighting back tears, there was still hope

"There's still a chance I stay with you in Seoul or at least in Korea" Minho was looking down at his shoes - he knew if he looked at Jisung he would burst into tears right then and there.

"You should take it Min"

"What" Minho finally looked up in shock making direct eye contact now

"I don't want to be the reason you give up on your dreams"  A tear ran down Jisung's cheek as he said the words - his heart tearing into pieces as he spoke

"Ji-" Minho gulped "You don't have to say that"

"I can't let you give up this opportunity for me, plus there's always long distance-" He was smiling through the tears.

"Baby I don't want to leave you" Minho had let his tears start to fall

"Min you know I would love for you to stay and I'm heart broken at the idea of you leaving but you need to do this"

"But-" Minho choked out his words "I don't know if I can do it without you" 
(A/N I'm ngl guys I'm actually sobbing rn)

"You have to" Jisung said whispering

"I can't" Minho sobbed

"Look Min" Jisung grabbed his hand "You know I love you and want what's best for you, so even though it breaks my heart, you have to go"

"But I don't want to hurt you" Minho barely managed to get that out from in between sobs.

"Min it would hurt me more if you turned down this opportunity because of me"

Minho didn't know what to say.

"Fine Ji, If I don't get any other offers from schools by the end of next week I'll accept the place in America" Minho couldn't bare to look at him "But the second I get any offers within Korea I'm turning down the place in America."

"Min it is ultimately up to you I just don't want you turning anything down because of me, ok" 

Minho smiled, a fake smile concealing the sadness he felt in his core, but a smile nonetheless.

"If I end up going to the American school I need you to promise me we won't break up"

"Min you know I can't promise that"

"Promise me"

"Min- I- I-, you know I can't predict the future all that I can promise you is that I will try my absolute hardest to keep you - I need you just as much as you need me"

They were both crying now

"I guess we'll just have to live this week to the fullest" Jisung piped up trying to laugh through the waterfall of tears.

"Starting with now" Minho leant over to Jisung - wiping his tears off the other's cheek with a gentle hand before pulling him in to a kiss.

It was loving and beautiful but behind that there was a great sadness and anxiety which became intensity, deperation and longing in the heat of the kiss.

Any of their kisses over the next week could be their last for a very long time so they had to make it worth it.

Minho's hands clawed through Jisung's hair as the other's arms made their way up and down the elder's back.

They pulled away 

"You know I love you Min- and I always will"

Which just caused them both to sob harder.

"I-" sob "love-" gulp "you to" the tears were coming thick and fast.

"Baby I know" Jisung said rubbing circles on the others back in a tight embrace.

TIME SKIP TO THURSDAY

Minho came running down the stairs and immediately wrapped his arms tightly around his boyfriend's neck slightly strangling him.

"Min you know I'm all for a bit of impulsiveness but- why?"

He pulled away grinning like a mad thing.

"JI" Minho jumped as he said it "I GOT ACCEPTED TO A UNI IN SEOUL" 

"OH. MY. GOD."

"I GET TO STAY" This was the happiest Jisung had ever seen the other boy.

"Are you gonna take the place?"

"Ji of course I am" Minho laughed

"You better not be doing that just for me though" Jisung said wrapping his arms around Minho's neck and giving him a peck on the tip of his nose.

"It was for you" Jisung shook his head "But only partly, in the time I was waiting to see if I got accepted anywhere else I realised that I don't even know how much I want to go to America"

"What do you mean Min"

"Well-" 

"Everything I've ever known is in Seoul: My family, you, my friends, you, my favourite places, you again" Minho said causing Jisung to laugh "My whole life is here, heck I don't even speak English"

"As long as you're completely sure Min" 

"Ji I turned down the American place as soon as I saw the accepted letter for Seoul university I'm definitely sure" He laughed

"I honestly don't know what I would've done if i hadn't gotten the place" He continued looking up at the ceiling in thought

"Min you do have to be able to go on without me" Jisung said looking slightly upset "If something ever happens I need to be able to know that you'll be ok" (A/N Before any of you smart asses try to use you're English lit knowledge rn NO this is NOT foreshadowing, shit that sounded kinda sarcastic-"

"Ji, it would take a lot but eventually I'd be ok - I think"

"Eventually" Jisung repeated wistfully

A/N Hello everyone, I think we're nearing the end of this ff it makes me sad to say that but I think that we'll only have a few more chapters in this part of the time line before I write the epilogue which will be about 1-5 chapters, I've really become attached to this ff but it has to end at some point haha, there will be an absolute max of 7 more chapters.
