hi beautiful
people <3

first chapter,
here we go.

giving birth to
their first baby <3

⚠️idk if this is needed but i'd rather be safe than sorry,
talk of child birth⚠️

ava's pov:

"billie, it's time,"

i gently shake her, trying to wake her up from her sleep,

she doesn't budge.

"bil, the baby's coming, we gotta go,"

she shoots up, looking over at me in complete shock from what i just said,

"your serious?" she asks, putting her hand on her chest,

"look, i'm sitting in a puddle right now, it's go time," i say as i contraction hits.

i wince a little bit as billie gets up very quickly and shuffles into the bathroom, i'm assuming she's packing things.

"babe, can you call the hospital, i gotta get myself together," i say trying my best to stand up,

but this pain is just absolutely insane.

"of course lovey, i'll come help you as soon as i hang up the phone," she says, coming out of the bathroom.

i very slowly go into our walk in closet, dropping my pants that are covered in 'water'.

"hi, my wife just went into labor," i hear billie's voice echo through the walls,

i carefully get some sweatpants on and a hoodie.

i waddle out of the closet and sit down on a soft chair that's in the corner of our room.

"yes, her name is Ava O'Connell and she's 36 weeks as of yesterday," she says as i very so carefully try to put a sock on my foot, failing miserably due to the pain in my lower half.

"great, we'll be there soon, thank you so much, buh bye," she hangs up the phone, looking over at me.

"alright, are you okay?" she asks, coming over to me, grabbing the sock out of my hand.

"well, our child's head is sitting on my pelvis so i'm not exactly comfortable right now," i say.

"okay, here, put your foot in," she says, helping me put my socks on and then some shoes.

"i wanna call my mom," i say as she helps me stand up.

"we will baby, let's just get to the hospital first." she says as she helps me sit down on the couch in the living room,

"i gotta put the bags in the car and then i'll help you," she says as she goes back into our room, getting the bags that we already had packed for about a month.

it just has, a boy and a girl outfit because we decided not to find out the gender, diapers, different binkie's cause you never know which ones they're gonna like, and some other essentials.
