ava's pov:

"hey billie," i yell from the kitchen as i prepare our dinner.

i hear faint footsteps, listening to them get louder and louder before i see my billie enter the room.

"yes darling?" she replies, going into the fridge "hey don't get anything to eat, i'm making food, anyways, i wanna kinda talk about something while we eat." i say as i stir the sauce in the skillet.

"oh, of course! is everything okay?" she asks, closing the fridge back up.

"oh yea, i'm okay. everything's alright, i just wanna have a conversation." i say as she comes over next to me, kissing my cheek.

"okay angel. we can do that." she smiles, heading back to the living room to continue her movie.

i finish up making billie's favorite, Alfredo, which she just calls, cheesy noddles.

i set the table, putting a folded napkin down on the left side of each plate, setting the forks and the knifes on top of it.

i pour us both drinks, placing them on the table next to our plates.

i get the heat protective mat, placing it in the middle of the table, i grab the skillet that has our food in it, placing it on top of the mat.

"billie my love, come eat!" i yell, i hear the tv turn off as well as the pitter patter of billie's feet hitting the hardwood floors.

"oh this smells wonderful babe, i'm excited." she giggles, sitting down.

"well i know you like this, so i made it for ya, you deserve a good meal." i say as i sit down in the chair right across from her.

we get out food, putting it on our plates.

we make a little bit of small talk, wanting things to feel a little more comfortable before i say what i wanna say to her.

"okay honey. can we have our conversation now?" i ask, swirling my fork around on my plate.

"of course, what's up?" she asks, putting food into her mouth.

"so i've been thinking. we just moved into this beautiful house we just built. we are all settled in, we are very happy and excited about it, we just got married, your doing wonderful things in the music industry, as well as doing wonderful things for our world, i was wondering if now would be a good time too.. uh start a family?" i say, watching her nod her head, thinking about it.

"ava, i'd absolutely love to start a family with you. having a little baby you running around, that's like the best thing ever." she giggles, looking down at her food.

"yea! i'm just so ready to be a mom. all i've ever wanted since i was a little girl is that responsibility." i say as i finish up eating.

"well one thing, we're both girls, so how's that gonna work?" she giggles, "oh you silly, we're gonna go get some ivf treatments. and go through that whole process" i say to her, she nods her head, i stand up, picking up my plate.
