billie's pov:

i toss and turn in bed as the baby monitor beeps, letting us know there's movement in briella's nursery.

i open my eyes, seeing our sweet little baby, wide awake, moving around.

i roll over in the bed, snuggling up to my beautiful wife, ava.

she stirs a little, rolling over too so we're face to face.

"good morning, my love." i say, she smiles, opening her eyes.

"morning" she cuddles in, stuffing her head into my chest.

just then, we start to hear little whimpers coming from
the monitor,

"well, i was gonna say we would lay here and snuggle for a minute, but ella has other plans." i chuckle.

"oh ella bella. i guess i'll go and get her," she giggles, getting up out of bed, putting on her sweatpants.

i sit up and wait for her to come back as i watch ava appear in the monitor, picking up our tiny little baby, holding her closer as she cries.

"don't cry baby, mommy's here." is heard,

i am so goddamn proud of her.

she's the most phenomenal mommy in the world.

this is very much so what she was made to do.

she was made to be a mother.

it's what she was made for.

even after being told when she was younger that it's impossible, we were capable of having 2 beautiful, healthy, children who we love more than the air we breathe.

i watch as she changes the baby and swaddles her up, carrying her to our room.

i read the clock, seeing as it's almost 7, i'm surprised lilah isn't up yet.

the door is gently pushed open, revealing 2 of my girls.

"look there's your mama," she whispers, coming over to her side of the bed, gently sitting down.

"hi beautiful," i smile as she hands her off to me.

"i'm gonna go check on lilah, she's usually well awake by now," ava says.
