and a 2 year old!

ava's pov:

!beep beep!

"billie, hey, time to get up sweet girl," i gently shake billie awake so she can help me get our daughter, Teagan, ready for school.

"baby, it's halloween, can't we just let her stay home today and sleep in?" billie whines, rolling over in the bed to face me.

"no love. i remember growing up halloween was so special at school. you barely even learn anything. i know they're having a party and watching a movie. and then me, you and Luna are gonna go watch her walk in the parade to show off her costume. believe me, she wants to go. but she needs to be bathed and fed before anything. that's why we're up extra early today."

"but i'm so tired,"

"tough titties, time to get up." i giggle,

she sits up and makes her way to the bathroom, closing the door behind her.

i also get out of bed and make the bed, taking everything off to make it up real pretty, putting all the pillows in thier spots,

billie then walks out of the bathroom,

"i'm really glad you make the bed cause if it were up to me, it would never be made." she giggles,

"and there's the difference between you and me, darling."

i put some sweatpants on and a hoodie, throwing my hair up into a messy bun.

"okay, i'll go get her up, why don't you go make us some coffee? unless you wanna come with me to wake her up, it's up to you." i say, checking the time on my phone.

"i'll go make coffee baby, go do what you gotta do. but first, kiss me." she smiles,

i give her lips a small peck before leaving the room, walking down the hallway to teagan's door.

i gently open it, closing it behind me.

i turn the lights on and sit down on her bed.

"hey beautiful girl, it's time to get up," i say very softly.

whining, she pulls the blankets over her face.

"it's halloween, don't you wanna go have a party at school?" i say with a little enthusiasm.

she nods while under the covers,

"cmere. come snuggle mommy," i help her out of the covers.

i pick her tiny body up off the bed and stand up, holding her.

even though she's 6, i'll never not wanna hold her.

and you best believe i will be doing it til i physically can't anymore, and even then, ill figure it out.
