"Dude that StarFarer movie was so cool," Jay said to Lloyd as the two walked out of the Theatre. They had gone to see the new movie after it had been released the previous day. Both were equally as excited about seeing the movie because it had been a couple of years since the last had come out. The movie failed to disappoint the watchers, with its 3-and-a-half action-packed and 3-D glasses, the movie was brought to life and was one of the best yet.

As the two reached their cars Jay's phone began to ring. He took his phone out of his pocket to see the words. 'Incoming call from My Yin' He waved goodbye to Lloyd as he picked up the call and entered his car. As if the the two girls had planned this Lloyd's phone began to ring. He chuckled to himself as he fished his phone out of his pocket to answer his girlfriend's call.

"Hey baby, what's up?" Lloyd said as his phone connected to his car. He checked his review mirrors and started to exit out of his parking space.

"Is your movie done yet?" Harumi whined into the phone. Lloyd chuckled softly at his girlfriend's complaints. He exited the parking lot of the theatre and merged with the cars on Route 45.

"Yes my movie is finished, I'm on my way home now." Lloyd smiled at Harumi's sigh of relief. He turned his blinker on and made a left turn. Many cars behind him did the same.

"Finally! I called you 20 minutes ago but you didn't answer, so I assumed you weren't finished with your movie." Harumi said, Lloyd hummed as he listened. A car suddenly cut in front of Lloyd, barely avoiding crashing into him. Lloyd honked loudly in annoyance. He opened his window and yelled.

"Watch where you're going!"

"What happened?" Harumi asked, confused about her boyfriend's actions. Lloyd swapped lanes as he neared exit 34 A.

"It was nothing, someone almost hit me," Lloyd said casually. He turned on exit 34 A, taking off his blinker as he did so.

"So when will you be back at home? I'm so bored here, it's like you've been gone for days!" Harumi complained. Lloyd heard her open a door and step into a hallway. A red light showed up in front of Lloyd, he slowly came to a stop. He took a look at the time. 8:37 pm.

"By about 8:50 or so, if there isn't any traffic, and besides you just say me at 4." Lloyd laughed. The light turned green, he continued driving. Harumi's footsteps could be heard as she entered a room and switched on the TV. The news channel.

"Hey babe? What route are you on right now." Harumi asked her voice growing shaky.

"Route 57 why?" Lloyd asked, not taking his eyes off the road. He merged onto the left lane.

"Oh shoot, are there any exits nearby?" Harumi questioned, The TV grew louder. Lloyd checked his GPS, not a single exit for the next couple of miles.

"No... The next one is in a couple of miles. Why are you asking this Harumi? Are you okay?" Lloyd's worry grew. He could see a couple of flashing lights from behind him. The police. Lloyd's questions were never answered. Not in time at least.

It all happened so fast. The police lights grew bigger but were covered by something else. A truck. A ten-wheeled truck. Before Lloyd could react the truck slammed into his car, pushing it into the wall. Lloyd's air bags deployed but did nothing other than make his condition worse. His head banged against his seat knocking him unconscious. The call cut off.
