Harumi woke up with a start. All sweaty and shaking. She felt cold as if something was missing. She looked at the other side of the bed, expecting to see her boyfriend there, but found no one. Lloyd wasn't there. He was on a trip for work, thousands of miles away. Probably in a conference, maybe working in an office.

Harumi took her phone off the charger and checked the time. 4:37 am. It was early here in Ninjago City. But it was about 10 am, in Ignacia City, the place where Lloyd's trip was. He should be awake by now. Harumi unlocked her phone to find a picture of her and Lloyd as her background. She almost teared up at the sight of the photo. He had only been gone for a few days, and she was already missing him this much.

Harumi contemplated calling him or not. She didn't want to bother him if he was in a meeting, but then again, she needed someone to talk to. Harumi moved the blanket and got out of bed. She went downstairs to get a drink of water, her phone still in her hand.

Lloyd was on the other side of Ninjago in his hotel room, reading business reports. He had a meeting an hour prior and the boss asked him to go over some reports. His eyes turned to his clock, it was 10:45, and he'd wait 15 more minutes until he called Harumi.

Fingers were typing but his mind wandered far away. To Harumi, who he thought was probably sleeping, dreaming of sweet dreams. She would be in her bunny pajamas, her hair in a low ponytail, her lips curled up in a soft smile. What Lloyd would give to see her smile again.

His mind snapped back to work mode, the reports he was writing were filled with gibberish. He sighed and slowly started deleting the nonsense. His mind and heart, still longing for his love.
