The wind pillar always hated the water pillar, his emotionless face, the way he distants himself, his 'I'm not like you guys' act. Always acting like he's better, when he's not, but this is only a assumption, a guess out of his personality.
Shinazugawa Sanemi, the wind pillar, never talked to Tomioka, and on the rare occasions he did it was only insults being exchanged. Mostly by Shinazugawa, although the water pillar, Tomioka Giyuu, was hated by Shinazugawa, he tried to be friends with him.
Tomioka would give him ohagi, his favorite food, Shinazugawa never accepted it though.
