Ch.13

-Shinazugawa Pov-
Tomioka sat the kid on a chair before giving her some ohagi to snack on.

I saw his eyes glance at me and I immediately looked away. I couldn't even look at Tomioka without my blood rushing with guilt. Fact is, I always had a crush on Tomioka. I didn't know how to deal with it, so I resulted in avoiding and making him hate me.

But now it's to late

I ruined it, he forever hates me now. Why couldn't I learn to deal with my overwhelming emotions?

"Shina...zugawa..?" I jolted my head up, only to see Tomioka. "M-mmhm?" Was all I could muster out, out of all times why was I getting flustered now!?    "About what happened yester-" He was cut off by Kukichi running over and crashing into his legs, making him lose balance and fall right on me.

I was internally freaking out, as I always would.

What the fuck!? Why does everything have such bad timing today!?

                             -Tomioka Pov-
I fell over right on Shinazugawa, I immediately got up. I glanced Kukichi before asking Shinazugawa "Are you okay?" He didn't respond, his face was a bright red, his expression still shocked. "Shinazugawa?" I started lightly shaking his shoulder.

"I'm fine," Was the first thing he said, not making eye contact or even glancing in my direction. Did I do something?

Of course you did something

Shut up.

Your a fuckup after all

Shut up.

Your going to lose them all

Shut up!

"I-I I have to..." I ran off into my room, locking the door and sliding down onto the floor. Desperately covering my ears, as a few tears slip out.

Your weak, useless, a death magnet

Shut...up..

You think they would actually care for someone like you?

Exactly.

                         -Shinazugawa Pov-
What the hell? The hell did he run off? Is he okay? He didn't seem okay, atleast not his usual self. Should I check on him?

"Pa..." I heard Kukichi say before she ran off to Tomiokas room. I followed behind her, he probably had his door locked, so we wouldn't be able to get in. I whispered to Kukichi and told her to knock, she did just that. "Tomioka? Are you okay?"

"I'm f-fine..." "That's what someone whose not okay would say!" "Well I'm fine..." I decided not to bother or attempt to force whatever happened out of Tomioka. It was about 8:50 when all that happened, it's around 11:35pm now. It's night, so it would be normal for Tomioka to be in his room all night?

I wanted to check on him, but I didn't want to over step the boundaries.

I decided to get some sleep, surprisingly falling asleep in less than an hour.

                          -3rd Person Pov-
The young girl, Kukichi, had woken up early, about 7:30am. The first thing she did was go check on her papa, Tomioka. She knocked three times, no answer, she knocked again, this time getting a response.

"Shinazugawa, I'm fine." "Papa..?" "Kukichi?" Tomioka opened the door and saw the small kid standing in front.

                            -Tomioka Pov-
I opened my door when I realized it was only Kukichi outside.

I knelt down to match her level, asking "Why are you up so early?" "I woke early" Great explanation, I looked around and saw the door to Shinazugawas room, I wondered what he always did in there. He'd sometimes stay in there for hours and other times not be there for a whole day.

"Are you sad..?" I heard Kukichi say, "No, of course not, that's none of your concern." "But I want to help you!" "Do you want to help me make food?" She thought for a moment before throwing her arms in the air and agreeing.

Quick A/N

I wanted to make this a angst filled story, but didn't want to make it like Kukichi is just some weird side character. So, I'm going to do giyuu angst and have kukichi and shinazugawa be like his healing arc 😗
