The morning sun light coming in through the big window, hitting softly on sleeping Jane's face. She was sleeping peacefully. As the rays of the sun gets stronger, the light got brighter, making it difficult to sleep. Jane slowly opened her eyes, looking her surrounding. She is not in her room. The realization hit her. Yesterday's event came running to her. She is married to her boss, Christian. Now, she if fully awake. Christian is not in the room. She gets up from the bed and goes directly into bathroom. After completing her morning routine, she comes out, ready and fresh for the new day.

She comes downstairs. He was not in the living area. She went to kitchen. Christian was sitting on the stool of the kitchen island having breakfast. He sees me walking to him. "Good morning." He greets.

"Good morning." Jane greets and sit on the stool beside him.

Christian passes her bread and jam. She take a loaf of bread and spread on jam on it and eat it.

"Coffee or juice." He asks.

"Juice." Jane answers. Christian give her the glass of juice. "Thanks." They ate the breakfast silently.

The whole day, they spent the time by themselves. Christian went to swim to cure his boredom. There's a pool in the house. Jane was reading book, which she found in the living room. During dinner they silently ate instant noodles.

The next day was the same as yesterday. They spent the time by themselves, not talking with each other. It was the evening, the dark cloud covered the sky. The wind blowing fast. Both of them were in the living room. Christian was on his phone while Jane was reading the book.

Suddenly a thunder strike. Scared Jane, she screamed in fear.

"Are you afraid of thunder?" Jane nods her hand in reply. Christian sees her clenching the pillow tightly. Her knuckle turns white due to the pressure, as if her live depends on it.

Another thunder strike, scaring Jane again. She brings her knees to her chest. She was scared and shivering. Christian gets up from the seat and sit beside Jane, whose face color has tuned pale.

Another thunder strike. Christian covers Jane's ears with his hands. Blocking the sound of thunder. "It's okay. I am here." He assures her. Jane was touched.

Thunder strikes continues the whole evening. Though, Jane can hear it, she wasn't scared as before. The reason was Christian. He sat beside her, held her hand. His presence calm her fear.

"Thank you." Jane says, when they were having dinner, later.

"No problem." He says while eating mac-n-cheese which she cooked. "I should have known about your fear."

"It wasn't your fault. I never told you." Jane clarifies.

"It is. You have been working as my secretary for 3 years. I should have known about it." He says in guilt.

"No. It's not your fault. I have always tried to hide it from others." Jane confess.

"Why?" Christian ask out of curiosity. "I mean, I always felt that you are hiding something. A secret that cannot be revealed."

"What does that mean?"

"I mean. You are professional in your work, no doubt about it. You are great in work, everyone in the office knows. But when it comes to you as a person. No one know much about you. You become very cautious when someone ask you about your life. It's like you have built walls around you." Christian explains. "I may be wrong about it. I don't want to offend you or something. Just my observation about you. Just observation."

"You are right." Jane tells him. "I don't want others to know about my life."

"Why?" Christian asks "Don't tell me you are hiding a big secret?"
