                                                                                  Jane POV

Working with close with Christian was great, I learnt so many things, which I haven't learned during my classes. It was great, to know him as business head. The way he work with dedication, passion and with professionalism. I became his fan. For his work and the way he works. Not in romantic sense. I admire his work ethics. Whenever I couldn't understand anything, he patiently explained it to me. Though, I wasn't keen on working in this project, at first. But after working on it, I enjoyed the process and learnt through the process.

After 3 weeks of continues work, it finally is rest day today, it's Sunday. We both woke up late. Mom understood the work and was not angry at all, when we came late for brunch.

"So, how's the work going on?" Dad asks, after eating our brunch, when we all were sitted in the living room.

"Everything is going on according to plan." Christian says,  focusing his attention towards dad. "If everything goes according to the plan, the project will completed by this year." He says.

"That's good to hear." Mom says. "Jane, how was it working with Christian?" Mom asks me. This question came out of nowhere. After asking this question, everyone's attention was diverted to me. I don't like when everyone's attention is on me. My social anxiety worsens.

"It was great. I learnt many new things." I answered her honestly.

"That's great. You are both taking steps towards each other. It's so great." Mom cheers happily.

"Mom, what are you talking about?" Christian asks her with confusion.

"Literal. That you are taking your relation a little further." Mom says. We both were taken aback, by this sudden statement or comment. I don't know what to say about this. But, then the realization hit me. We both tried to understand each other, during the last 3 week. We learnt to co-operate with each other, understand and respected each other's points of view. We are finally getting comfortable.

"Brandon, it's won't be long time, before we hold our grandchildren in our hand." Mom casually teases us.

Both, Christian and I got shocked by this. We suddenly straighten up ourselves. Grandchildren? That's a very big step in our relation.

"Mom, we are not ready to have child now." Christian firmly states.

Now? But in future? Of course, every couple wants to have a child. But, for that we need to........ Stop, don't go that track. My face starts to feel hot, my cheeks turn reds, due to this streaming thought.

"Okay. I will not talk about this. But, did I informed you? Brown's invited us for the dinner at their place." Mom says.

"Brown's invited us for dinner, when?" Dad asks mom.

"Today." Mom says.

"Today? And you are telling us now?" Dad say to mom.

"I forgot. But, I am telling you now." Mom excuse by making such a cute face. No on can restrain this face. Anyone's anger can be melted by that face.

"Okay." Dad says defeatedly. A small giggle comes out from my mouth. Christian sighs down.

"Mom, it's your ultimate weapon." Christian says to mom.

"So what. I can defeat your dad by this weapon." Mom says with pride. "Every girl has these types of ultimate weapons."

He and dad sighs. "Son, take my advice, we can never win against our wife." Dad says.
