Chapter 19

Bondita POV 

I looked at his expression. I was feeling so satisfied. He looked at me with tears. Karanji spoke breaking me out of my thoughts.

K- Anirudh, are you alright? Why are you crying?

B- I'm sure it's because he is happy for us. Right, Anirudh? I asked him smiling at him while I was smirking on the inside.

Anirudh wiped his tears and spoke.

A- Y... yes Karan. I am happy. Congratulations. He smiled which was fake.

K- Thank you Anirudh. He said smiling at him.

Anirudh just gave a fake smile and went away. 

Bondita POV ends.

Bondita looked at the retreating figure of Anirudh. She knows that he is upset. 

In study room

Anirudh POV 

Anirudh locked the door and sat with a thud. He cried thinking about what happened downstairs.

Why? Why did Bondita kept that she is the bride? Is that why she looked happy yesterday?

I thought I will tell my feelings for her. Now it's impossible. She is going to marry. Just the thought of Bondita marrying someone hurts. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't stop the wedding. Bondita will become upset if I did. I cried. 

I didn't go down. 

POV ends.

All the guests left after blessing the couple. 

Kaka- Where is Anirudh?

Batuk- Don't know Kaka. 

B- Maybe something came up. 

Kaka- Let's go take rest. It's been a long day.

Everyone dispersed. Only Bondita and Karan is left.

K- Bondita, why do I feel Anirudh is upset about our engagement.

B- I don't think so. Why would he feel upset? 

K- Bondita, do you think what we are doing is right?

B- What do you mean? She asked even though she knows what he meant.

K- You know what I am talking about.

B- I know. I am doing what I feel is right. We can't stop now. We are engaged. Leave any other thoughts. Let's rest. Tomorrow is Haldi. She left from there.

Karan looked at her walk away. He sighed and went to his room.

Hi guys. I know this is a short chapter.

I want your suggestions. Can you guys tell me what to write next like making Anirudh jealous. I am not getting nowhere with this. How to make Bondita take revenge.
