Author's note: Part 11/??
The touch of the young doctor was so gentle. No one ever treated him with such care. Though he couldn't look at Pat's face, Nonsee could imagine the handsome man focusing.
"There's a lot of dried blood. I need to clean it first. It may be unpleasant, but bear with it." Pat's gentle voice warned him.
"Okay." Nonsee agreed, waiting. Soon, the cold liquid landed on his palms. The scratches stung, and Non couldn't help but jerk. The firm grip didn't let him move, though.
"A little bit more."
Non nodded. He felt smooth material drying his hands before Pat spoke again.
"I can see pebbles inside the wounds. They need to be removed. I will try to be as gentle as possible."
"It's okay. I can endure it." Nonsee was determined to show his handsome companion he wasn't weak.
"Okay. I am starting." Pat chuckled. Non took a deep breath as the cold metal dug into his flesh. He fought the urge to close his palms, biting his lower lip.
"You are doing good. It will be over soon." Pat assured him, and strangely, it calmed him down. It didn't take long, and Pat coated the scratches with ointment and wrapped his hands with the bandage.
"Done. You can take your hands back." Pat announced, but he didn't let go, leaving small caresses on the bandage. Nonsse's heart was racing. He loved Pat's touch, but there was a fear, too. He slowly pulled away. He wasn't sure if he should look at Pat through the gap again or not. The situation was so weird.
Yet there was one thing Nonsee was sure of. He didn't want their clandestine meetings to end.
