Escape of the Palisman

Everyone was at a playground,and Eda,Luz,Victor and Julie were sitting on a bench,watching King play on a slide.

Luz:"What if he gets hurt?"

Julie:"What if the kids are mean to him?"

Luz:"Our parental instincts are freaking out,man!"

Eda:"Relax,you two."

Victor:"Yeah. He's fine. Take a look at him."

King was trying his best to climb up a slide,while saying his famous catchphrase,"Weh".

Julie:"Well,he does look like he's having fun."

Luz:"Aw. I wonder what cute little game he's playing."

King:"Stand back,cretins!"

He successfully climbs up the slide.

King:"Yes! This is a throne worthy of a tyrant! Bow down to me,underlings!"

Children:"Okay!"

Two children proceed to lie down.

King:"Yes... Appease your master!"

A kid with a snotty nose walks up behind King.

Boy:"This isn't for standing. This is for sliding. Here,you try."

The boy then gently pushes King down the slide.

King:"Eda! Victor! That monster just took my throne!"

Victor:"You mean the little kid?"

King:"No,the usurper! Victor,I want you to use that fighting spirit of yours,to cut him in half. Eda,I want you to go over there,and blow him up!"

Victor:"No way. I'm not gonna overuse my Avatar like I did last time."

Eda:"Yeah,and I'm not using Owlbert to blow up a five year old. He's got better things to do."

Eda screws Owlbert off of her staff,and puts him a few times. The little owl then hoots in response.

Luz:"Aw. What a sweetie. How'd you get him?"

Julie:"Acutally,Eda didn't get Owlbert."

Luz:"What do you mean,Julie?"

Eda:"I made Owlbert from the branch of an ancient tree. He's my palisman,and we're bonded for life. I'd destroy anyone who would try to hurt him."

King:"Okay then. I'll just do it myself."

The boy then pushes King down again.

Boy:"Tag! You're it!"

Victor:"Here it comes. King's little squeak of rage."

King got up,and squeals like a kettle. The four of them laugh in joy.

Luz:"Wow,he sounds really cute!"

Julie:"Yeah!"

Victor:"He never ceases to make me laugh."

Eda:"He's like a little tea kettle."

Owlbert started scratching himself with his foot,and Luz saw a hole there.

Luz:"Eda,what's that?"

Eda:"That's his interlock. It only fits on my staff. Every palisman has one."

Eda then suddenly collapses.

Victor:"Eda,you okay?!"

Luz:"Eda!"

Julie:"Wake up!"

Eda then suddenly jolted awake,and looked at her surroundings.

Luz:"Are you okay?!"
